"A week with extended family here was exactly what we hoped for (despite imperfect weather). With plenty of inside space and a huge kitchen it held our large group with room to spare on the rainy days. When the sun was out we paddled on the river, swam in the lake, and drove to some of the great coastal towns close by for the classic Maine oceanside experience. Wonderful slice of downeast rural life!"

"The property was exactly as represented. It has all the basic necessities. The location was perfect. Right on the lake so we could do our ice fishing right from the porch. Check in and out was easy. The only small downside was the parking. I have a suburban so there was not a lot of space in front of the cottage for it to fit and be completely off the road. I was a little nervous it would get clipped by someone driving by."

"Could not have asked for a better, easier, and more beautiful stay. Property is natural and well cared for. The surrounding wildlife esp the bald eagles scoring their breakfast on the lake was just awesome. The home itself is designed for relaxing, playing or a great family meal. "This is the cleanest property I have ever rented. Spotless! The setting is so peaceful and calming. Hubby and I sat outside looking at the lake, listening to the leaves rustle and a feeling of total relaxation was ours. Grocery stores and town are only a few miles down the road. Easy to find. "You could not ask for a more lovely space. Went to Liberty to see some friends, and this house is such a beautiful little gem. The renovated space is comfortable, functional, and welcoming. We managed to arrive just after a late March snowstorm so while we didn’t enjoy the lake, the hot tub was greatly appreciated. By far one of the nicest houses I have rented, and you will not find anything as nice as this in the area. Have recommended it to other friends and will definitely book again."
