This house is just as pictured, so there really weren't any surprises. However, it was very much a basic house: basic beds, a really bad couch, and minimal furniture. The pictures were accurate, so it was as expected, but it would have been nice to have a little bit nicer living arrangements. The was no coffee table only a little side table that didn't fit everyone's stuff. The couch felt like it was a left over from college days. None of the rooms had hangers and only one had a dresser. There were clothes everywhere. The microwave was super tiny. The game room is not heated. Going in the winter, this made it a bit chilly. There is a room heater but it takes a while to warm the room. No A/C either, but there is a fan.The blankets were amazing. There were so many and they were all super soft and super warm. The water pressure was unlike any we've seen. Appreciate the k cups and plenty of laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and spices. The k cup machine is a for a single cup, so if you are coming with a group, that will take forever. Dining table only seats 4. Overall, great ranch but it did feel more like a dorm experience than a house. Little things would make a huge difference like hangers, a better couch, a coffee table, larger coffee pot, etc. Location was pretty great - we were within 30 min to most anything. If you are up early enough, you get to see the hot air balloons take off every morning.
