"Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay...

"We had two families stay here with adults and kids age 15 months to 10 years old. This was perfect for all of our needs with ample bunk beds and space. The kids loved the outside space and had plenty of room to play inside when it rained. We had a boat and this is on a cul-de-sac so we could easily turn around! I would highly recommend staying here! The kitchen is well stocked and the washer/dryer was so helpful with wet swim suits and towels."

"I can’t begin to express how many “wow’s” came out of our mouth as we explored the house. So clean and cozy. It was a perfect place to spend our anniversary. We really enjoyed checking out Alexandria and coming back tired, we hung out near the fireplace and watched tv. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We would definitely come back during the summer time to enjoy the lake. Ultimately a very relaxing weekend and would recommend to anyone interested in the highest quality of getaways! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Our family spent the Christmas holiday in this gorgeous home. There was a beautiful Christmas tree set-up so “santa” was able to deliver gifts. The open floor plan was perfect. The kitchen was great for preparing meals & holiday dinner. Each bedroom has a bathroom so it made getting kids bathed at night and ready for bed very convenient. We really enjoyed staying at this property and are looking at renting again this summer if available."

"A nice cabin in a great location. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for my family. I appreciate the owner allowing us to bring our dogs as long as we paid an additional pet fee. I was very disappointed in the level of cleanliness but then I have high expectations in this area especially when I'm paying for a place to stay."

"We enjoyed our stay in this property very much. We loved the location, which is very close to Alexandria and to a wonderful nature trail. The house is right on the lake, so the views were amazing from all three decks! We did notify the owners that the two twin beds on the top floor needed new mattresses, so hopefully that will be addressed. Otherwise, everything was great!"

"Very spacious and well equipped. The highlight was the beach/swimming area. We brought a Lily Pad which entertained the kids for hours and hours each day. (There is a brochure in the house for a local place that rents Lily Pads.) The major downside is that the property abuts Interstate 94 (with a buffer of trees), so there is a lot of highway noise, which we were able to mostly ignore."

The cottage is beautifully decorated and provided us with a relaxing and restful week of beauty, water, the changing color of fall leaves, and even the Northern Lights.
