"Went in summer, so very quiet. Staff were friendly and when the hotel power went out communication was good and prompt. The front desk was not staffed the whole time while i was there, but this may be because of the time of year i stayed here. Very close to local shops and the room was clean and modern. "We had a good stay at the Aurea Washington Irving Hotel. Location was perfect and only a few steps to the famous Alhambra. Bed was comfortable with options to choose for your pillows for a restful sleep. Breakfast has variety of healthy choices and Granata Restaurant has good food, too. Staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel is clean, although the carpets on the hallways may need updating. Overall, we are happy with our stay. "
