"Eigentlich eine tolle Unterkunft: praktisch mit der Schlafnische für das 2. Bett, toller Blick auf das Kitzsteinhorn, mit dem Auto zum Skilift in 5-10 Minuten, Balkon. Leider fiel uns schon beim Betreten der Wohnung ein unangenehmer Geruch auf, der auch während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes jedes Mal nach dem Lüften wieder hervortrat und der offenbar aus dem Kühlschrank zu kommen schien. Zumindest stank dieser und der dazugehörige Eisschrank so extrem, dass es unmöglich war, ihn zu benutzen. Zum Glück war es draußen kalt genug, so dass wir den Balkon als Kühlschrank nutzen konnten. Wir haben den Gastgebern nach unserem Aufenthalt von dem Problem berichtet, aber keine Reaktion erhalten. Im Sommer sollte das ein ziemliches Problem sein.In der Spülmaschine stand noch das schmutzige Geschirr unserer Vormieter, im Schrank einsortiert ein schmutziger Teller und ein richtig klebriges Backblech. So etwas sollte der Reinigungskraft, die hoffentlich vorher da war, eigentlich auffallen. Auch beim Absuchen der Wohnung vor der Abreise, ob man noch etwas vergessen hat, vielen unterm Bett die vielen Wollmäuse auf. Fazit: Die Wohnung könnte der perfekte Spot sein, aber auf Sauberkeit muss mehr geachtet werden und gegen den Geruch muss etwas unternommen werden."

"Die Aussicht ist fantastisch, Erwachsene und größere Kinder können zur Piste laufen, die kleine Sauna ist nett, praktisch für zwei kleine Familien mit gemeinsamen Wohn- und Essbereich Es fehlten im unteren Zimmer Möglichkeiten zum Aufhängen für die Handtücher, nur zwei Mülltüten für 1 Woche Aufenthalt reichen nicht"

"The hotel was fine. Had all you need and dining staff was great. The images are misleading. The view from the steam room biológico is photoshopped. The view from pool and other steam room are also not accurate. The views make it seem isolated but it is in a busy area with lots of hotels restaurants and houses. Great for convenience to the slopes but misleading in photos. Also be away no one under 16 is allowed in the heated outdoor pool or the saunas imaged. They have a basement level pool with cool water and a nice spa attached but not with the views. It was my son’s 13th birthday and he selected the hotel to enjoy the view of the mountains from the pool and sauna. Nice accommodation and restaurant, just misleading images. "

"I booked my room with a prepaid rate. Having already booked, I was told that there would be no one on reception to receive me so I would have to go to their sister hotel to receive my key. This turned out to be a 15 minute walk away, hugely irritating as I arrived after dark in a new town by taxi. I was then told that the spa/sauna facilities were not working at the apartments and so I would have to use the facilities at the hotel, just not convenient at all. Once in my room, I found the TV was not working, the remote control was disgustingly covered in someone else's food, the soap and shampoo dispensers were empty, and I was given one single duvet and one small pillow (for a double bed). The only route for me to complain was by text as no one was on reception. The TV got fixed the next day (I was only staying 4 nights), but I was told as I was staying by myself that I only got 1 single duvet and 1 pillow. They also advertise a morning bread service but as there was no one at reception to take the order, I couldn't use that. I was told 2 days later that I could order that via the sister hotel, kind of pointless to then be told that with only 1 day of my holiday left. These guys could not care less about their guests. Completely lacking in any kind of attention to service, and insulting in their response. They eventually offered me EUR32 in compensation on a EUR 700 stay. Insulting to say the least. Stay away from VAYA Kaprun"
