- Firefly Haven is tucked away on 9 peaceful acres near Bryson City, this spacious yet cozy, pet-friendly mountain retreat offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Just minutes from the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC), Tsali biking trails, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, and the Tail of the Dragon, you’re perfectly positioned to explore Western North Carolina.
After a day outdoors, unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit under the stars, or cozy up by the indoor gas fireplace. The large covered front porch features a dreamy bed swing and rocking chairs overlooking the forest and creek — perfect for slow mornings and golden-hour evenings.
This beautifully renovated 2-bedroom, 1-bath mountain cottage comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, offering plenty of room to spread out while still feeling intimate and inviting for couples.

The private back porch features the hot tub — ideal after hiking, rafting, or scenic drives through the Smokies. Outside, enjoy grilling and evenings around the fire pit surrounded by trees and peaceful creek sounds.
Access is easy via mostly paved roads, and the driveway is suitable for all vehicles in all seasons — no 4WD required. There is ample parking for multiple vehicles and motorcycles, along with thoughtful privacy between neighboring cabins on the property.
Whether you’re visiting for rafting at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, biking Tsali, riding the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, or simply escaping to the mountains, this creekside retreat is the perfect Smoky Mountain basecamp.

We enjoyed our stay at Firefly Haven. We loved the front porch and the swing! The property is beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was great and the fire pit by the creek was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean.

Great hosts! Excellent communication and delivery. Very well provisioned and comfortable. We enjoyed everything about staying here from the moment we arrived. We loved our stay at Firefly Haven. The cabin was adorable and very clean. The hot tub was fantastic and so was the location of the property. It was so quiet and serene! We will be back for sure. Great place for a couple or small family.

Great stay! Very accommodating owner! The Hot tub was amazing ( maybe need a fence around the back although fairly private) The house was very clean and comfortable! The swing in the front porch is to dye for! I want one! The downstairs bed was very comfortable! Just an absolutely cute little place! Loved it!

It is a quiet place with a road in front that goes to other houses. It may be on 9 acres but it has 2 other cabins very close by.It was very comfortable and clean.The bathroom isn’t connected to the bedroom and the bedroom did get hot in the middle of the night.We loved the front porch and were really looking forward to the hot tub, but it wasn’t clean.Our goal was privacy and to enjoy the hot tub. But we enjoyed the town, rafting and hiking.

Perfect cozy lil cabin!! Super clean and has everything you need! Came for a weekend getaway and absolutely didn’t want to leave! The porch swing was awesome you could heard the babbling stream that is directly in front of the cabin! And the hot tub was also fantastic! Would highly recommended and can’t wait to come back!

Precious house. Love the swing bed on the porch while listening to the creek. The hot tub is great after a day exploring. The location is great too. Not too far from several towns no matter what you are looking for.

Lovely cabin
We love the location and try to come as much as we can. This is our first time in this cabin and it was great, comfortable beds, spacious and well equipped kitchen, but most of all, the bed swing and hot tub!

Fantastic property for adults or kids pet friendly hot tub fireplace and fire pit just quiet and peaceful 15 20 min. From great restaraunts activities from horse back riding to whitewater to playing and swimming in the lake hot tub. Great place for vacation a must see and do

Relaxing cottage by the stream
We had a wonderful experience. This was a great location for visiting Bryson city. It wasn't too far off the main road, but far enough away to be very peaceful. The cottage was clean and quaint. We really enjoyed staying here.

Epic location, very secluded but easy to get in and out. Topoco, Tail of the dragon, Maggie Valley and Cherahola skyway. NOc for dinner. Home was very well equipped and comfortable. Host was excellent. Thank you.
