「We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended.」

「Die Lage des Cottage ist perfekt. Vom Bett aus konnten wir Elefanten und Kudu-Antilopen im Addo Park sehen. Aber auch direkt hinter dem Zaun des Grundstücks waren Warzenschweine und Antilopen unterwegs. Es war sauber, und alles da, was man benötigt. Die Feuerstelle lädt zum gemütlichen Zusammensitzen bei einem leckeren Wein ein. 」

「Beautiful garden setting located on an operating Citrus farm. The owners are kind and welcoming and treated us like family. Our unit had a small kitchenette and a room attached with two twin beds for the kids. Fully equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with homemade Jams and honey from the farm. We truly enjoyed our time here. It was also a great location in proximity to Addo Elephant National Park. We highly recommend a stay here」

「What can we say this place took our breathe away! Such a beautiful setting with the accommodation set right amongst the natural surroundings of how these animals should be seen. The staff again like at Tsala in Plettenberg were amazing and can’t do enough to help you during your stay and after too. The guides are extremely knowledgable and welcome all questions and make you feel very comfortable and at ease during the game drives. For anybody wanting a unique safari experience with game animals...

「The actual hotel is really very good and the rooms are outstanding. Nice grounds, nice pool and the food was also of a decent quality. Now on a road trip around South Africa, you get used to warnings about safety and taking care of belongings. Here we were welcomed with a lengthy delivery on all the steps the hotel was taking and what in turn we needed to do, which even by SA standards appeared a bit alarming, so made you think the surrounding area must be a huge 'worry'. 「This property is located right on the Sundays River. I believe they also have canoe rentals. Great location, we could safely walk to dinner at Grunters, good food. The hosts were lovely and had lots of knowledge of the area. We went Sandboarding on the Alexandria Dunes - great fun. The shower was huge and beautifully tiled, but it had no privacy! Not a big deal, just good to know :)」

「Very nice accommodation on a farm near Addo Park. Nice rooms with veranda and outdoor shower. Wonderful well-kept garden with views over the surrounding hills. Pleasently quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast all good. Very nice host who tried very hard to make our stay pleasant. Thank you, we would book there again at any time. 」

Die Couch im Wohnzimmer ist durchgesessen und weißt starke Gebrauchsspuren auf, welche durch eine Decke verdeckt werden. Ca 100m neben an befindet sich eine Tankstelle, ein SPAR und ein Parkplatz, welcher rege von großen Trucks genutzt wird, Obwohl das Appartment zur Fluß Seite liegt, empfand ich entspanntes relaxen auf dem großzügigen Balkon etwas schwierig. 「Wir haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht aufgrund der Nähe zum Addo Park. Die Unterkunft selbst ist toll, das Personal sehr bemüht. Wir sind sehr früh abgereist aufgrund des Fluges und uns wurde ein schönes Frühstückspaket vorbereitet. Es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden, eine landestypische Unterkunft, die dennoch die „Vorstellungen“ eines Europäers erfüllt. Die Unterkunft ist jedoch ca 1 std mit dem Auto von Port Elizabeth entfernt und man muss kurz hinter PE durch ein recht unsicher wirkendes Gebiet...
