Apartment located in the centre of Amalfi, on the last floor of a 19th century building (accessible through 88 steps). The apartment have a private terrace with a view of the Duomo church and of the mountains around Amalfi.

The bright apartment is located on two floors and consists of: a living room, a kitchen with all comforts, two double bedrooms, a first bathroom, a second bathroom (with wc and lavabo); on the first floor there is a double bedrooms with an suite bathroom and a terrace.



I receive them in the apartment so they can see us at the check in where we can give all information about the apartment and the area.

Our guests has our mobile phone where they can call for any requests.

Every guest has to pay 1,50 euro per person per night as city taxes for the first 10 nights of staying. Adults and children from 10 years to up pay taxes The consumption of the air conditioned/heating is not included in the price so the cost will calculate at the check out.

The rooftop patio was amazing and very special. The stars were a great workout multiple times a day!The views are spectacular, the walk to the beach was 5 minutes, the location really can’t be beat!Mr Amedeo was very easy to work with and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay!Only thing that could have been better was a few more kitchen towels. Other than that, perfect Amalfi stay!!!

The climb up the 125 steps (not including the steps from the street) is well worth it. This rental hit all the positive notes. The rooms were clean, spacious beautifully decorated. Getting to places was easy, food store, beach, restaurants, bars. Hands down the best shopping. You could not beat the location. The kitchen was well stocked. A/C worked great. We used the washing machine for several loads which came in handy. The terrace is to die for. The view is spectacular. We hired a professional chef, and we eat up there. It will be a night that my family will never forget. There would be no hesitation to rent this unit again. Communication with the owner was great.

Perfect apartment with AMAZING views

We stayed here with six people, including a 7, 13, 17 year old. The apartment was perfect for us with plenty of room. The town of Amalfi is the perfect homebase for the whole Amalfi coast. The apartment is in a perfect location, just a few minutes from the beach, ferry, bus stop. There is a market right at the bottom of the stairs. Be aware- there are many steps to the apartment. We counted 148 from the street, but so worth it. Was hesitant to book, but as other reviewers mentioned, the steps are worth the views and I couldn’t agree more!! Absolutely beautiful Rooftop terrace with the most spectacular views. Spent much time There! The owners were great. Very helpful in arranging porters to carry our luggage which I would recommend!

Amazing view of the Amalfi coast.

This is a spacious apartment in a great location. With all the activity on the street, once you enter this space you’re in a different world. The rooftop terrace was the best. Be aware, there are lots of stairs but it was worth it. The host was very helpful to us in finding a second location as well.

Great apartment with character and amazing views

As described, there are a lot of steps to get to the apartment so the baggage porter service was well worth it. Amadeo did a great job checking us in and was always helpful. The AC costs extra but was also worth it. Located in the heart of town so it’s near many restaurants and shopping. There is no lighting on the walkway once you enter the property so bring a flashlight or use your smartphone. Lots of steps - I think we counted 140 total from the street to the front door but it was worth the extra workout.

Wonderful Stay in Amalfi

The flat is everything that it's billed as. The only thing that could have met it better would have been a tent/pergola on the terrace. Other than that, it was wonderful. Be aware: as previous guests have stated - there are over 120 steps to be climbed to reach the flat. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. Amedeo was a wonderful host. Very response and helpful with suggestions and answering any question we had. Overall, a wonderful experience...

Amazing Amalfi Stay

Amalfi is an amazing town to stay for your Almafi coast vacation, and this apartment is the perfect place for you to stay. Be warned, there are a lot of steps, but the view is worth it. The charm, views, and location of this apartment made this the perfect stay for our family.

We loved this VRBO stay

The first positive during our stay was Amedeo. He contacted us ahead of our stay and suggested that we use a porter service. This turned out to be very important as we did need help going up the stairs. Additionally we had one request for something that we needed and he responded immediately. Another time we had a question and he got back to us within a few minutes of our text. The apartment was very nice and clean. It met our needs. The roof deck was had an incredible view of both the town and the water. The apartment was in the center of Amalfi and extremely convenient to all restaurants, coffee, wine shop and the supermarket. We loved our stay in Amalfi.

The location was fantastic. A few items would have made the apartment more enjoyable

Location was excellent. A few items would have made it perfect such as more bath towels and kitchen towels. Instructions to help with hot water heater upstairs and a map of where the apartment was located. We got lost a bit the first few nights. All in all we had a grand time!!!

Great location, beautiful views

This apartment is very close to the main attractions of Amalfi—just a street or two over from the main center—and has gorgeous views of the cliffs, ocean, and cathedral. It is an older building so there are a few quirks, but our overall experience was great. I will note that you need to be ok with stairs because the staircase up to the apartment can be tiring, but apart from that, 5 stars.

Wonderful property and location

10/10 recommend. Just be weary of the steps- get the help with the luggage and it’s not so bad. Great host. Easy walking to bus and ferry to go port hopping. Loved every bit of it.

This place is an absolute gem. Second time staying here (8 years apart) and it didn’t disappoint. Well maintained, great location with all the essential items for a proper stay and the views from the balcony can’t be explained in words, you have to see it and experience them.

Great responsiveness

Good location within the town. definitely lots of steps to get there so be prepared to walk them at the end of a long day and with your luggage. Upper bathroom has very small shower (long but very narrow making two of us unable to even get in it and shut the doors) with very tiny hot water heater….only enough for one quick shower before running out of hot water. Definitely an older apt though that should be expected when staying in Amalfi. Service and responsiveness was AMAZING! The refrigerator didn’t work when we got there and within 62 minutes of me messaging someone, the refrigerator was taken out and a new refrigerator installed. The person who met us with the keys also helped carry one of our suitcases up all the steps and volunteered to take one down for us. Top floor patio was amazing but we were gone for most of the time so didn’t get to enjoy it.

Lovely Stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Yes....there are lots of steps but the virws from the rooftop terrace make up for it! Jyst make sure all in your group can handle the steps. Amedeo was wonderful for check in and out and even arranged a porter for our luggage--which I would definitely recommend. We had a great stay!

Amazing Amalfi View

Roof top deck was the highlight! Quiet and perfect views. The overall unit was fine. Quite functional but a bit dated. Furniture, sofa, beds, etc were could be updated. Please understand the stairs. We were told 88 stairs to climb and no elevator. It was actually 144 stairs from the street carrying luggage, groceries, or anything else. Once you get there it’s fine. But make sure you are able! Overall a very good stay. Thank you.

All as described. Very well located in very attractive town.

Very good well located property in line description. Excellent view from roof terrace, close to Amalfi centre and sea. Note - no air conditioning in top room so very warm in hot weather. Many steps to apartment so not suitable for all. Parking can be very tricky in Amalfi even at multi story on edge of town.

Great location, beautiful rooftop deck

As others have noted, it's true that there are lots of stairs to reach this apartment. That said, the owner's colleague who met us for check-in very kindly helped us bring our bags up. The private rooftop deck was our favorite part -- a great place to start or end the day, with beautiful views. The rest of the apartment was also comfortable, bright, and airy. The owner was very helpful in the days leading up to our arrival. A great base for exploring Amalfi!

This was a very nice property. Everything we needed and more. Clean and comfortable. Great for two couples. Amedeo was fabulous for checking in and out. Must be able to climb stairs, many stairs but the view from the private d k is fabulous. Great stay, reasonable price.

Great location and roof-top terrace

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment. The location is very good, and even though it's close to the action is relatively quiet. As others mentioned, there are a lot of stairs, but it's not a surprise and manageable. If you're a light sleeper, be warned that the church bells start at 7AM each morning. I really liked Amedeo who met us and promptly took us to the apartment; he even carried my daughter's suitcase with him! To make it even better, I would suggest a welcome basket which has some water, snacks, coffee, or light refreshments. In most other rentals, we have received this and it's a lovely surprise when you arrive. I'd also request more than one dishcloth and dishtowel for guests that stay multiple days. Overall though, this was a great apartment where we could really have a lot of space. And, we really enjoyed the roof-top terrace. Thank you!

Perfect location on the coast and outstanding view!!

If you are going to the Amalfi coast, the Amalfi town and this apartment are the perfect location to make your home base. We were so grateful Dorotea helped us arrange a transfer from Salerno to Amalfi on the night we had arrived, after 24 hours of traveling to get there! Mr Amedeo met us at the drop off point and helped carry our luggage up to the apartment. He also helped us locate a restaurant that evening that would accommodate my husband's gluten allergy. Although we came to discover that many restaurants in Italy are accommodating to allergies. The food was outstanding the whole trip!! There were about 100 steps up to the apartment. But with all the walking and stairs you will likely do exploring the coast, this is something you must accept anywhere you stay. The apartment was very nice and comfortable and had everything we needed, but the private terrace was the star! It was so nice to begin and end long days of exploring the coast by enjoying this outstanding panoramic view from the mountain to the water! We were even surprised one night with an impromptu fireworks show. The location of the apartment is also very convenient to access the town and public transit in just minutes. Definitely take a bus or car at some point so you can experience Amalfi Drive, but do take advantage of the ferry for transportation! Ferry transit is so fast and a great alternative view. We went in early April, so there was not a lot of other tourists yet, which made for a very enjoyable stay. Thank you Dorotea and Mr Amedeo for your hospitality. This is a trip we will not forget!

Cheerful/Bright Apartment

We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful apartment. There was plenty of room for five adults. The terrace was wonderful and even though the stairs were challenging it was totally worth it. If you can climb stairs don't pass up this apartment. You will be rewarded every time you step out on the terrace and hear the church bells ringing.

perfect!!! what a view .....

Our family of 4 have just came back from our week stay in this lovely apartment, was very clean and well equipped with every thing you need (just like home). We had 3 bedrooms and we didn't even use the top floor, each room is bright with lots of room for clothes. The roof top views are amazing over looking Amalfi. The transition from transfer to arriving at the apartment to get the keys was stress free, thank you Mr Amendo for helping us with our suitcases up the stairs a whole 113 steps !!!! worth it once your up the top. This apartment is great location one street back from the main square, supermarket close by for all you need for a great stay.
