The Cactus Cove was the best stay I had during my trip. The room was nice and clear, with good utilities. Outside the room, there was nice bar and featured interior. The environment was quiet, peaced my mind and spirit which was tired due to the trip. Recommended!

Lobby, courtyard, decor, gift shop, bar, breakfast, pool, etc are all absolutely phenomenal! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! The only downside was the rooms themselves. The rooms showed age and are in need of renovating. My guess is that this is coming, because everything else is top notch! I would stay there again.

I absolutely love this place and staff. They are always so very helpful. Great with communication. It’s an older facility, but they are in the process of remodeling. so many things for the family to do without even leaving the hotel thank you all see you again soon.

When I got there it was about to be 5pm and my room was not ready. I got sent to the room and when I walked in maintenance was in the bathroom fixing something they said it was going to be a while because he wasn’t done with a job and after that everything needed to be cleaned up. I went up to the front desk and the receptionist suggested I have a seat in the lobby and offered me snacks and suggested I wait for the room to be done even though check in was at 3pm. I asked for my money back as I had an event to be at between 530 and six. She then assigned me to a new room. USB charging in the room would also be helpful. The atrium is beautiful. It would be nice for all those plants to be dusted off a little bit. It would make it look so much sharper. On the plus side the room was clean and staff was very nice and the little whiskey bar they have in there is so cute. I would stay again, the decor and environment is so different but very pretty.

Super cute place — I would definitely stay again! I can tell they’re actively updating things, so I won’t go into any of that. The rooms were great, though they could use a little refreshing. The common spaces were amazing! I can’t believe how much this place offers. I’ll never stay anywhere else when traveling through Amarillo! Highly recommend!

The room pictures online do not match the actual rooms! Sticky carpet, a/c didn’t keep the room cool, the outlets had sticky residue in them and only a couple actually worked. Average continental breakfast with yogurt, cereal, waffles, etc. They do have a paid option ($6.99) but it’s basically what other hotels offer for free… powered eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy, etc. I did like the contactless check in, it’s super convenient when you’re coming in late at night. There aren’t keypads on the top two floors so any random person could wander in and I’m not sure anyone would question them with most guests doing self check in.
