Great spot in the center of town. Lovely pool. Plentiful breakfast. Having a designated parking lot was great only we got back late one night and couldn’t enter because it was locked and the desk wasn’t staffed so we had to find parking elsewhere.

This is the perfect hotel for families. The one-bedroom apartment with pull-out sofa was very spacious. Well-equipped kitchen. Full dining table. Pool is smaller than it looks in the photos, but still good with a nice deck area. Walkable to downtown Ambroise with bakery, cafes, restaurants and shops. Air conditioning was new, strong and very effective.

Hotel has a great location close to restaurants, shops the Loire River, Chateau Royale d'Amboise and Chateau du Clos Luce. On-site parking was convenient. Our room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and efficient and most helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations. I highly recommend La Maison Rabelais.
