  • Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. You will be within 35 minutes to the Wintergreen resort, and other close by places are Lynchburg, Liberty University, Charlottesville, and 10 minutes from our small town of Amherst. The place you will be staying at is 2.1 miles from the Rt 29.
    There are several hiking places nearby, and the Blue Ridge trail just down the road follows the river and accommodates biking, horse riding and is family friendly.

Beautiful and cozy place. We booked this place to visit with our grand-daughters. Host was delightful and very sweet. The keypad to get in was a little wonky but the host has a back up plan that works every time.

I absolutely love this quiet rural spot. I felt like I was at home. Super cozy and relaxing. The host is top tier as well. I had to change the date twice, and she was so kind and worked with me. I'll be staying here again if I travel through Amherst again.

Sweet Little Place

Ski weekend

Clean and comfortable. Had all the essentials, including full kitchen and laundry. Owner was very responsive and check in/out was easy and convenient. Easy to get to. Fairly close to Wintergreen for skiing, 35-40 minutes and vineyards for the non-skier in our family. Well priced. Would stay again.
