Andasibe
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (10)
"The room was big with a seating area and it had a terrace. The beds was very comfortable. The dinner was very nice, the breakfast too (the take-away breakfast did not have the same standard) . The hotel had a swimming pool. There was only WiFi the reception. There was no heating possibilities in the room, and the room was cold (June). Tip: Visit Vakona and experience the lemurs come close. "So this wasn't my first option as a place to stay but I am glad I ended up here. The staff is very helpful and will do anything to make your stay nice. It is not as modern and hotels closer to the main city, but when you are out in the forests of Lemur land, this is pretty good. I will definitely come back "

The Diademed Sifaka is real cutie. On this sighting near Andasibe they were somewhat shy and staying almost out of reach in the rainforest canopy. A little fill flash along with a Magmod did the trick.
