Perfect house - even in off season

We absolutely loved this property. It was close enough to the store that it wasn't a big deal if you forgot something, while also feeling secluded to enjoy the time with the people you're with. The house had everything we needed for a few days stay. The hot tub was great. Grill worked perfectly. My husband especially enjoyed the hammock.Our only complaint would be that none of the beds were especially comfortable. Overall, we would stay here again.

Family ski trip!!

Our family had an amazing time! Mountain Serenity is a beautiful home with so much room. There are large windows and deck with great views of the scenery and wildlife. And very convenient to the ski resort. The kitchen is well equipped for all meals!! Loved being able to sit all together at the large dining table. There were lots of games to play, and the boys loved the air hockey table and walking the trails right behind the house.

Angel Fire Trip

The house is immaculate, roomy, and we lacked for nothing. Deer came out of woods daily and our grandkids had a wonderful time. I'd highly recommend it!

Beautiful views

It was a great place for a family get together. The views were beautiful, and the hiking trails were great. Hot tub was enjoyed by all. Kitchen was well stocked. Some throw blankets needed a wash. Not a great set up for tv viewing. The driveway is a bit daunting, but we got up/down ok.

Quick getaway

My Husband and I decided to get away with our children and my parents for a quick weekend to play in the snow. The wildlife we seen through the back window was an added bonus for my parents. The House was beautiful as well as the snow. The only disappointment was on the last night we wanted to get into the hot tub and the Water was 80 degrees and we didn’t didn’t get to get in. Also the water looked very low in it.

Very nice house, great location, excellent mamager

We really enjoyed our stay here and we are happy we booked it. The house is in great condition. The kitchen is well appointed, the view across the valley from the porch is peaceful.

Nice and Cool

We went in July to escape the hot Oklahoma weather. The house was great! We really enjoyed all the wildlife we saw from the back porch. House was clean and big enough for 3 families. Great location!

Mountain getaway

We stay in Angel Fire once a year and this was one of our favorite cabins. Being right on the open greenbelt allowed us to see so much wildlife during our stay. We had a group of deer that came right up to the cabin several times a day that were eating straight out of our hands. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed and more. Cheryl checked in several times to make sure we didn’t need anything during our stay and was very responsive.

Lovely location, beautiful view. I was a little disappointed that there was no complimentary coffee provided(very basic, I believe) Upstairs bed linens were not clean,,we washed them ourselves

Family get together

This was a great place for our family to get together and enjoy quality time. We loved walking the trails, sitting in the hot tub, playing games and air hockey! We saw a big buck right by the house the first morning of our stay!

Nature Getaway

What a perfect winter vacation. The home and surrounding nature were amazing (deer walk up to the property daily). The home is extremely cozy with grand views of the valley below. We had the best time and will be planning a trip back next season!

Very relaxing and close to nature

We had a wonderful week in Cheryl's house. Very well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed the corn-hole, hot tub, fire pit and the back deck! Also there are some wonderful hikes in the area.

Mountain Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for multiple generations as we each had our own area in the house. The view of the valley and wildlife is spectacular! The kids enjoyed the air hockey table and hot tub and we all enjoyed s’mores around the fire. It was a perfect summer mountain getaway!

Beautiful house!

This house was beyond beautiful! Really well taken care of and clean. There was everything we needed which was very nice. I wish checkout was a little later but she allowed a free hour so check out was at 10am.

Amazing family vacation!

The house was perfect for our three families ( 9 people in total.) Kids loved the basement, was a great hangout. We all loved the numerous hiking trails out the back door, watching the wildlife off the back porch, star gazing at night, the fire pit and hammock! The dinner table fit us all…The store is convenient and close. Many outdoor activities close by. Hoping to make this a regular summer trip to beat the heat of Ks!

Family Ski Trip

Plenty of space, very clean, amazing views, kitchen stocked with everything you need. The driveway was steeper than it appeared in the pics. We parked at the top of the driveway throughout our stay which was a little inconvenient with kids, ski gear, etc. Four wheel drive is a must in the winter months. Loved the hot tub and room for the kids to play. Beautiful house.

Great home with plenty of space, close to ski lifts.

This property was exactly what we were looking for! It Is just about 2 miles from Angel Fire ski lifts, which makes skiing accessible but allows you the privacy of a home. The property itself has plenty of space to spread out over three floors. The hot tub, back deck and trail access, and air hockey table make it special. It is clearly a loved place, and the owners were extremely easy to work with.

New Years Trip

We enjoyed the cabin. I did not enjoy driving on the roads to cabin. Our vehicle slid head first into a tree. That put a damper on the trip but we made the best of it.

Gorgeous property, everything was as advertised and we had the best time.

This is such a beautiful home and we all enjoyed our stay there! Plenty of room for a large family. Our group included adults & children. Loved the home! It was well supplied with everything we needed. Great layout and a dream. The lady I talked to was the sweetest person and helpful with everything I ask for. I would definitely recommend this house, it is everything you could want and more.

Cozy and clean

We enjoyed our stay (February 2023) in this property. We had four adults and 5 kids. The kids stayed in the basement (bunk room & queen) and the adults stayed in the two rooms with king beds. There was one leftover queen that we did not use. The kids loved the basement with the air hockey table and fun bunk room. It was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. We had some snow and the driveway is downhill so we were stuck for one-day, but they came a plowed and we were able to get out. You can park at the top of the driveway if you are concerned, but loading/unloading is a little difficult.

Beautiful property!

Our overall impression was great! Cheryl was very helpful and very accommodating. They had tremendous snow on the day we were supposed to check in so we were delayed. Due to all the heavy snow the driveway was only plowed and cindered once and the sidewalks did not get shoveled but thankfully we were able to go in and out through the garage 😉. The mud room was essential during our stay. The house was well stocked and everything was very clean. The views were amazing! We had about 12 to 18 inches of snow all around the house so the kids had a blast! We had 2 - 2WD vehicles that never were able to go down the driveway so I recommend four-wheel-drive if you plan on using the driveway during winter weather - its a little on the steep side. The cable and Wi-Fi were hit and miss but that may have been due to the weather we had during our stay. The area is beautiful and we will definitely be back to Angel Fire!!!
