Great location for those who choose to ski and very close to the center of town. Everything was nice and clean. For me the master room bed was a little too soft. Other than that enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for dancing.

Lovely well-cared for home with view of Wheeler Peak and great deck

We loved the location and especially the views of the fall foliage and Wheeler Peak. We had owned a home in Angel Fire years ago and love revisiting this place (over and over). Bed was very comfortable and our dog really enjoyed the big deck. Just two things that would have been better: a gate blocking the deck stairs and I couldn't find an ironing board. Would rent again!

Winter House

We had a fantastic vacation and ski trip at the Rustic Chalet. The house was exactly as described and was perfect for our group of 8 adults. The beds were extremely comfortable and helped recover from each day on the slopes. The hot tub was also great to have and easily fit 5-6 at a time. The views of Wheeler Peak were incredible and we could easily walk to the lifts each day. We loved our Winter Ski House! There were not really any cons but a few things for the owners/management to consider: Windows seem to have been replaced in the remodel but they do not fit in the primary bedroom and do not close all the way or lock. This let a draft flow through that made the bedroom very cold especially when the temp dropped to single digits. Some additional weather stripping may help this. Second, a snow shovel would have been helpful when we were there. The walkway from the porch was covered in snow and it became hard to see where the steps were. It would also have helped with the area in front of the hot tub. Again, these were not negatives, but just suggestions to make the stay even better. Finally, we “donated” (forgot) a plastic sled we used to sled down the hill behind the house. It was lots of fun and, hopefully, the owners will make it available for future guests.

Our family of five loved the Rustic Chalet. Our three boys got in the hot tub daily. It was so nice to be able to do laundry and cook during our stay. Loved the coffee bar and fireplace too. Kids loved the shuffleboard table. Lots of TVs and comfy beds. Will definitely come back!

This home is beautiful. The photos do not give this home justice. It's absolutely stunning. The views are amazing and home is stocked with everything to get you started for your vacation/staycation. The property manager was extremely responsive and provided all of the information we needed. There are also many eateries within walking distance and stores/coffee shops just a few miles away. If you're seeking modern convenience in a luxury rustic atmosphere, then this home in Angel Fire is the place to be.

WOW!

We were nervous about booking a cabin without any reviews but the photos and the description sold us. The first thing we said when walking in, was WOW! This cabin is beautiful and luxurious. They really thought everything out from the boot brush for mud and snow at the front door, to the throw blankets in the living room. The house is decorated to perfection and the home is very spacious. The linen’s were very luxurious and the bed was very comfortable for myself and my wife. We stayed at many cabins with horrible beds but this was perfect!! We even looked at what linens and mattress they used for our home. The bathroom was modern but still went with the cabin. You do have to pay extra to use the hot tub, but it was well worth it after long days spent hiking and exploring. Driving to the cabin was very easy. We have stayed at some cabins whereupon wife wouldn’t even try to drive or park, but she felt comfortable here. The kitchen it beautiful but not stocked besides salt and pepper and some spices. It’s perfectly located for the ski resort, grocery stores and shopping. My wife was caught off guard when a man walked onto the patio unannounced to check on the hot tub. Luckily she was in her pajamas. The entire back of the cabin is windows and if anyone walks on the patio they can see everything. Not a deal breaker but it’s something to be aware of. The grill was clean and great for burgers but we couldn’t find any grilling tools. We would stay here again and have fun highly recommend this home. We fall more in love with Angel Fire, NM every time we visit and this home was a great stay.
