"The continental breakfast is nice, if not typical, with cereal, bagels, toast, juice, coffee/tea, etc. The hot breakfast option is quick although limited... eggs, bacon and tater tots. The staff is very friendly, the rooms clean and quiet. The parking is convenient and the location is just off the highway in the center of Barrie. All in all, a pleasant stay."

"I will stay here again on my next visit to Wasaga. The kitchen was perfectly clean however, the cutlery I felt, needed to be rewashed as well as the cutlery tray and drain board. I loved the electronic heating unit and remote control. The room was very comfortable....king sized bed was pretty comfy, the TV, side cairs and table area were just perfect. It was too cool to use the bbqs, picnic tables, muskoka chairs but, they were available and in great shape. Finally, the electronic door entry lock system was ideal! No keys, no cards, no hassle. "I found the weekday rate fairly high. I’ve gotten a better rate on a weekend there and it just felt abnormally high for a Wednesday night. It would be nice if breakfast was served a little later or longer. We got in late and missed out. My kids slept in and were disappointed that they missed it. I was made aware it would be shut down at 9am, so it wasn’t about being un-informed. Also, the lack of an elevator is annoying. We were on the 3rd floor and had to carry sleeping kids and our belongings up the stairs and across the hotel to the furthest room. Overall, the facility was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly."
