“Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place.”

“Clean room and helpful staff throughout our 5 night stay. Noise from the bar entrance/exit goes on until the small hours of the morning and traffic lights directly below, so recommend room is selected away from the street side as the windows offer absolutely no noise abatement. Food is good with a large selection however no evening food available, so recommend The Anglers opposite for evening meals”

“I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. We’ll definitely be going again. ”

“The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update……

“Centrally situated near to all amenities. My single room was basic but comfortable enough, spotlessly cleaned every day and quiet. Breakfast (included) was plentiful and well cooked and presented. I recommend that you check the hot water on entry as when I checked in I wsinceas very tired after my journey and piled into bed. In the morning I found I had no hot water in sink or shower and went to reception to complain. No problem says the girl, I'll be up in 5 minutes to switch it on. Maybe the……
