A magical holiday in Pittenweem!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Binny Cottage! The location was a dream, finding the property and parking were both simple, and the cottage itself was perfectly cozy, clean, and extremely well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some beautiful meals with local ingredients and Sam and Jeremy's tips on where to go made our stay in Pittenweem feel like a home away from home.We can't thank you both enough for our wonderful Christmas holiday in Scotland! And we're already discussing a return!

Amazing home, amazing location!

This property was perfect. Spacious for four of us, comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plenty of room for us to spread out, including the kitchen and living room. Convenient small grocery in walking distance (we did not have a car), and a bakery and some great restaurants. Several wonderful walks to nearby towns. Hosts were beery responsive to any questions we had. We would absolutely return again!

Beautiful East Fife

We had a glorious week in this beautiful house in Pittenweem helped no doubt by the unseasonably warm and sunny weather. The area is very scenic with lots of farm and fish shops which we enjoyed visiting. The house itself is lovely - very comfortable, warm and inviting with a real sun trap of a garden which we used every day. Gloriously private and quiet too! Would hesitate to recommend!

Lovely house in a lovely village

Idyllic is the word - Pittenweem is a lovely little fishing village and a great base for wider travel, and this house is just perfect - really well presented, large enough that you aren't all tripping over each other and very quiet. Sam is a terrific host too.

Holiday in Fife

Cozy seaside cottage near harbor with excellent communication and recommendations from host. All of our needs and comforts were satisfied. We would most DEFINITELY stay again and recommend to family and friends! We enjoyed coastal walks, the wood stove/sitting room, BIG kitchen, back garden, and space for everyone. The Dory Bistro was excellent! And I especially liked the friendly staff at the Coco Tree and the yarn shop.

Amazing cottage that made a 60th birthday one to rememer

We had a wonderful time at Binny cottage - it’s a brilliant cottage in a brilliant location. Easily accommodates 8 and the kitchen/living spaces are big and welcoming. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were incredibly accommodating to our needs. It was the perfect place for a 60th birthday weekend away!

Dempseys at Binny Cottage

Wonderful property. So lovely it was difficult to leave and explore the magnificent coastline and beautiful village. We got great September weather and Binny Cottage was the perfect place to base ourselves and explore such a picturesque part o& the world. Nice to cosy in at night and play some games in the big comfy living-room too!

Beautiful cottage

The house is in an idyllic location, just above the port of Pittenweem. It is spacious and clean, with a nice garden. Parking in the port was free, but not always easy to find.

Lovely coastal cottage

The cottage suited our needs and had everything we needed for a weeks holiday over the Christmas period. It was beautifully decorated so we felt the Christmas spirit and cosy and warm. Pittenweem is a gorgeous coastal village that we enjoyed exploring and is centrally located along the Fife Coastal Path. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Roomy and comfortable stay close by the picturesque harbour

This property was a great find for our group of 5 adults. It is a delightful cottage, beautifully furnished, clean and very comfortable (with newly remodeled bathrooms). It is well located for walks along the coastal path, and also easy access to browse the High Street shops. We also enjoyed the wood burner in the cold February weather. Sam (our host) was very responsive to our questions, also surprised us with some bubbly for our birthday celebrations. Highly recommended!

Fabulous house in a beautiful location!

Binny Cottage is a beautifully decorated house on 3 levels. Having stayed in many houses over the years this is one of the best. Four great bedrooms, large and comfortable living room and fabulous kitchen. It has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The Fife Coast is rugged and stunning. Lots of places to walk to and explore. Easy journey to Edinburgh or St Andrew’s. A great base to explore the east coast.

Wonderful cottage in lovely seaside village !

Just returned from a terrific week in Fyfe with a lovely stay at the Binny Cottage ! The well appointed, spotless, extremely comfortable cottage was an ideal location for our golf week . The cottage is 15 minutes from all major courses in the area with the exception of Carnoustie which was just over a pleasant 1 hour drive. Sam was very easy to work with and ensured that the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Don’t miss having a meal or two at Dory’s Bistro .. try the lemon sole !

Amazing house and Sam was brilliant

House was amazing. Lovely rooms and plenty space for 4 adults and 3 children. Lovely welcome basket from Sam as well. The property is in a very quiet lane in pittenweem which is a gorgeous wee village. Loads of lovely walks along the coast. Brilliant chocolate shop 5 minutes walk away. Couldn’t fault anything and would certainly return.

Wonderful home in a quaint fishing village

Had a wonderful time at Binny Cottage. The house was spotless and very well equipped , the largest selection of DVD’s I have ever seen in a rental. Sam the owner left us a great “goodies basket” with chocolates and bakery items which was perfect after a long day of traveling from London. The village of Pittenweem was just as cute as can be and the walk from village to village along the sea is spectacular. We have stayed in many rentals and I can honestly say Binny Cottage is as good as it gets.
