On September 30, 1882, it became the first residence in the world powered by a centrally located hydroelectric station using the Edison system. Floors were wet and slippery in front entry. Smelled like cigarette smoke upon entry to lobby. Asked to be moved to 1st floor room for my 96 year old father as there was no elevator. Told no and clearly this property was NOT full. Had NO HOT WATER?!? Do NOT recommend this place!

Booked through Expedia . I stayed 3 different times ,3 nights each time . I had to use a card for a “deposit “ . They charged me twice $50 and once almost $100 . Only one $50 deposit was returned . I called the desk and they were very rude . I will never stay there again .

beds were comfy but the sheets on one of them had a rip and fade in it. Breakfast was mediocre. No pool or hot tub as advertised. Overheard people fighting. Also found a cockroach in our room.

You've been warned.

TERRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. We had booked this hotel for a company event with 7 employees. When our first employee arrived, the female Uber driver told her that she could stay at her house rather than this dump. The room smelled of urine, the door and window lock didn't work, fire alarm was damaged, blood stains on the comforter, and people fighting in the hallways. Homeless people all around the building, and what looked like a drugged up guy in the lobby. We quickly booked a different place and took her out of the room. They even tried to double charged us an extra $1600 and when confronted, they said to file a dispute. You've been warned.
