“I would stay here again a hundred times! The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Best brown bread in Ireland! Our room and bathroom were spotless. It was quiet and comfortable. We were there during a nasty storm and had no reason to leave the property, so I can’t say anything about Tralee and how convenient the location is, but it sure was nice to have everything we needed (food, entertainment, clean accommodations) without having to step into the rain!”

“This is a beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of little nooks and cranny’s to sit quietly if you wish. The bar was busy and we ate there. The service was very good and the food, exceptional. Breakfast too was very good. Overall, a good experience but at a higher than necessary price. Also, there is no pool at this hotel and no pool next door, as suggested. You have access to a pool but that’s a five min drive away, so maybe they do not need to mention a pool at all.……

Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. “The check-in was an indicator of how the stay would go. We were given room key and told it was straight down the corridor opposite the reception desk. It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room. It was well that we were both able bodied as it was a struggle to get our suitcases up the stairs. The……
