A lovely characterful property that has lots to offer close to hand and is a great place for day trips to Kilkenny, Youghal, Wexford and even Cork!

Quiet and Peaceful Cottage

Great location near several quaint towns. Being out in nature was great. Be sure to bring an extra blanket in the winter time as it's definitely chilly, but the view and the quiet is idyllic. Hopefully the wifi is fixed soon, otherwise, it has everything you need for a country escape.

Fernab der Touristenhochburgen bietet sich die Möglichkeit, Land und Leute näher kennen zu lernen. Zudem strahlt die Landschaft eine Ruhe aus, in dermaßen sich gut von der Hektik des Alltagsgeschehens distanzieren und erholen kann.

Gemütliches und rustikales Cottage auf dem Land

Das Cottage befindet sich auf einem alten, umgebauten Hof, auf dem sich noch zwei weitere Ferienwohnungen befinden. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man hört wirklich nur die Vögel zwitschern und den Hahn (direkt hinter dem Haus) krähen. Diese Ruhe ist wunderbar zum Entspannen. Das Haus ist ein altes Steinhaus, das relativ kühl ist. Wir haben uns ein Wärmekissen mitgebracht, sonst wäre es definitiv zu kalt gewesen. Eine weitere Decke im Bett oder eine Wolldecke fürs Sofa wären wünschenswert. Die Einrichtung ist sonst sehr rustikal, aber soweit alles vorhanden, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Von der Ferienwohnung sind es nur ca. 15 Minuten zum nächsten großen Supermarkt (Tesco Extra) in Clonmel, auch Pubs und ein Take Away sind in der Nähe. Auch Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto sind von dort aus gut erreichbar.
