The whole experience was a total disaster.

Here's a spell-checked and more polished version of your message: I specifically chose this location for the pool and even paid more for it, considering other properties in the area were about $50 less per night. I asked three times if the pool was open, knowing that most pools close on Labor Day weekend, and all three times I was assured by VRBO that the pool was open. Well, it wasn’t. To make matters worse, we were stuck there with nothing to do because I don't golf, and sleeping in wasn’t an option. Although I love natural light, this place had no way to block it out until the sun went down, which made it very frustrating. The weekend was disappointing from the start—our keys weren’t ready, and the HOA didn't even know we were coming.
