“Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. ”

“A great location for visiting the coast which was quiet considering how close it was to a main road. A lovely clean room with all necessary features. The breakfast was good. I would stay there again.”

Parking was an issue after 8pm as usually all the closest parking lots would be full.”

“There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. “Great location, staff was very friendly and cooked us a very tasty breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Street parking was very full so had to park one street away but promenade and restaurants are all within walking distance so no need to move the car after securing a spot.”

“We stayed in a family room which was clean and close to the beach, with some restaurants around. There is no USB socket in the room so need to bring your own sockets to charge your phones and devices. Pillows are too soft. Breakfast was included, with cold and cooked buffet for selection.”
