Clean, modern. Self-checkin offered, hotel within minutes of spectacular cliff walk. Easy parking that gets crowded during the day as many tourists and come to walk the cliff. Easy walking, level walking path. Good restaurant. Lovely view from room with operable window. Quiet. Some staff were lovely; others a bit chilly. Overall a good experience and would recommend as a place to stay while exploring Snaefellsnes Peninsula.

Come here for the stunning location but do not expect much from the hotel. It’s like sleeping on a hard grey rock - with minimal comforts or care. We were a family of four, no shampoo, one thin pillow, slightly dusty and not even a decent cup of coffee. The room is unadorned and sterile. That said, this is one of the most incredible spots to visit and actually worth it. If you can find a hotel elsewhere Hotel Budir or in Helnar - which are nearby - I would go for it. If you must stay here, I still would for the incredible natural surroundings.

The room is pretty drab and a little bit of money would go a long way — nicer chairs (maybe not black plastic), a bit more furnishings, maybe the utensils are in a utensil holder in the drawer instead of a little bowl that holds all of the utensils in a mess. Overall it's quite a nice place it just needs someone to care about the design & experience a bit more!

We love the location. A good place to slow down a bit with our road trip. Stroll around the area and do some activities as well. Our only disappointment was that there were dead flies in our room when we check in. Housekeeping might have missed it?
