「Lovely cottage, in a truely wonderful location. This home is rather arty and unique. Tastefully restored with love by the owner. It is small but plenty big enough for one mum and a lanky son. We thought it could have been a little cleaner; crumbs under cushions, sticky balcony, but as my son said "not bad enough to complain about". The kitchen has everything you need - I took my cook pot so didn't use it much. There is a shop in the village for basics and a Co-op 10 minutes away in Blanaeu...

「Had a great trip here for our girls weekend. Good location for exploring the local area. Ceri messaged us beforehand with all the instructions which were easy to follow. 「Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views. Nice to get some milk and Welsh cakes which were lovely. Cottage was clean and comfortable, only minor negative was limited information about what to do at check out time, local contacts etc. and there wasn’t much in terms of cleaning equipment apart from a broom so couldn’t do...

"The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
