A great, spacious apartment next to a nice black sand beach, with usage privileges of the resort next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our host, Bea, was helpful, responsive, and accommodating to our needs. We would happily come back!It is important to have a car (this is true in general in Tahiti), so you can easily get groceries and go to nearby places like Pointe Venus, to complement your stay at the resort. The restaurant at the resort hotel next door is OK, but overpriced.

Awesome property

It was an amazing staying within walking distance of an amazing resort. We enjoyed 11 meals at the restaurant and the staff was so welcoming, along with food being great. We highly recommend this place and the owner is great to work with.

Beautiful Location and a nice unit…

The unit is in a lovely location - tight on a black sand beach. You can hear the waves lapping on the shore all dat and night. You do get to use some of the amenities at the hotel like the pool and spa but they tend to make you feel like you are “a 2nd class” citizen. They will not give you a towel or even share their internet password. We did buy drinks daily by the pool and had 4 dinners at their restaurant. The unit itself is lovely but to be honest -the layout is a bit kooky. The lanai that looks out over the beech is set up as the kitchen - so you have all of the kitchen equipment on one side of the room and a bistro set - a small table and two plastic chairs on the other. This is the only room in the unit that faces the beech, There were no comfortable or relaxing chairs there or in the unit that you could put out there to watch the ocean - like a couple of deck chairs for example that had a bit of a recipe to them, which is the purpose o tenting this condo. The only other issue is the sliding glass door off of the lanai into the living area - the wheels have pretty much fallen off and it’s metal on metal when you try to close them - which is no easy feat. That should be repaired and that is not costly to do. Having said all of thst - I probably would rent the unit again if I was to go back to Tahiti. I liked the location outside of downtown Papeete in a quiet area - the host is very responsive and it was clean.

Beautiful view

Being on the third floor made for a nice view. Beautiful black sand beach. The waves are a bit big for our kids age 6-11, but they liked to play in the river that leads to the ocean. The floors had broken slats which sank when you stepped on them which would be our only complaint. And only 2 passes to the resort, so we never went since we are a family of 5. But it served as a great base for our adventure.

Great location, near Papeete

The location was great Very cinvenient for end of cruise break before flying home. You probably need a car if off site attracrions are desired. Great host.

Great Stay

We had a great stay in this small but functional apartment. With the convertible sofa’s, we were able to comfortably fit our family of 5. The main bed was really comfy and the bathroom is huge. The location was convenient for access to the beaches of Mahina and there is direct access to a beach right next to the apartment. We could see the whales passing from balcony of the apartment! There is a bus stop right outside the complex which made it easy to get into Papeete and the hotel next door has a small scooter and car rental option if required. The hotel also offers meal options and other amenities that can be used when staying at the apartment. Two passes are included to access these during the stay which works great for a couple, not so much for a family. Bea was a fantastic host and was easily contactable when required. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic location Oceanfront

Apartment was comfortable and well supplied. Best thing was sitting on the terrace watching the waves. Easy location able to get to everything quickly. Arrival was seamless. Our family fit well in the space. We did have to pay $100 to the hotel to have a third person at the pool…just be aware of possible additional costs if there are more than two people. (2 passes to all hotel amenities provided). Would defiantly stay again at the property! It was an amazing vacation.

Paradise Found!!

The apartment was exactly as described. It had everything you would want for your stay. It was nice to be able to use the facilities of the attached hotel. The beach was amazing. The black sand was so soft. We were able to snorkel right from the beach. Ww would stay again 🌞👍

See/hear the ocean every day

We spent six relaxing days at this property. We really enjoyed being able to see and hear the ocean right out the kitchen windows and watch people on the beach. We liked being to able to cook our own meals in the fully stocked kitchen. If we didn't want to cook, the property is a residence apartment of Le Tahit by Pearl resort. After a two minute walk, we enjoyed going to the resort pool and spa, being picked up for an excursion or going for a walk on the black sand beach. We also went to a dinner show at the resort with a dinner buffet and Marquesan dance show that was really fun. We are also lucky enough to be at the apartment while the resort was having a big music Tahitian concert. I don't know who was playing but the music was excellent. We enjoyed the music for many hours from the comfort of the apartment. Thank you, Bea, for this enjoyable, first half of our vacation.

Rest in Paradise

Bea has a Beautiful unit, amazing view of the black sand beach and LePearl Resort very relaxing. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. I would retire here if I had the chance. Great communication from Bea on recommendation for special occasion dinner, and also food trucks.

Wonderful experience

Earlier this month we spent almost 3 weeks at this apartment, and had a wonderful time. Very comfortable. The location right on the beautiful black sand beach could not be nicer. We hope to come back soon.

Loved our stay

The Le Tahiti resort at Pearl Beach is a quiet, beautiful slice of heaven close to the east side of Tahiti, which is by far the most beautiful stretch of the island. Bea's condo is well kept, very comfortable and nicely appointed. Bea was very gracious and accommodating in allowing us to postpone our trip in February due to the Omicron outbreak, which we very much appreciated. Check in was easy, the resort and condo were lovely, and we loved our stay. Highly recommended. Merci beaucoup Bea!

Perfect location on the island

This was the best beach we found on the entire island, with the softest spongy sand. The view from the deck was great as well. Highly recommend a rental car because the location is ever so slightly remote, but that adds to the untouched beauty. Bea was great checking in with us before our arrival and was available during our stay but didn’t intrude even once. Highly recommend this property and owner

Great appartment

The appartment was great, clean and has averything you need. The check in was very easy and Bea was very helpfull with lots of informstion. The appartment is nearby the resort were you can have breakfast, lunch and diner. You can enjoy the sunset everynight with a cocktail in yoir hand, ore take a swim in the pool. We loved the appartment and had a very nice holiday

Absolutely Beautiful view but minor complaints. (Long post)

The view is amazing and the apartment is beautiful too. The only thing was location. Yes, I read before booking so I knew. You just don't know, know until you're there. The struggles of truly getting around was real hahah. Don'tt get me wrong, it's a good location for viewing the black sand beach but that's about it in my opinion. Plus, we went during rainy season so most things was shut down. Which sucked being near a resort that didn't offer any activities really. We did see some morning water aerobics however, had it not been for the resort next door, you definitely would've needed to rent a car, taxi or bus which we did take for $3 USD one way the system is quite different. But the hotel offered rates ($130+?) per day for sure, weekly I'm not sure, we only wanted it for the day to get groceries. Speaking of groceries, they're EXPENSIVE! The states are expensive but then, it felt like double maybe even triple the price in the states. Again, I knew it was gonna be pricey, it's an island but you just don't know how expensive until you're there. Four bags of food just basic food like eggs, bread, cheese, bacon (small packs) etc then bone out chicken breast (cut in half), ground beef already made patties and steak which we rationed (cut in half) for another days was almost $300. We did cook EVERY day. We only went to see what breakfast was like at the resort our first morning after arriving. It's not terrible but it wasn't the best in our opinion. The resort lunch and dinner menu is meh, we just wanted to look at the menu to see what they offered. Not much to choose from. We did have pizza one night for dinner. It was good. There's not a lot of activities on Papeete. Everything is on Moorea which was shut down most of the time. We did get one day out of our trip and one sunny day. Back to the apartment, loved the layout. There is no shower door just a half glass door that doesn't move. So beware water does get on the floor. The red towels and blueish grey face towels had a small smell to it but I realize after my massage at the spa's resort, that's normal but the brown hand towel was terrible, we did not use it. Overall it's a very peaceful location. Friendly people in the area. Good view location. Sounds of the ocean is so peaceful. If that's your cup of tea, by all means book it. Definitely worth the money. We would have to go back but not in rainy (January) season. The locals recommended May. Host was so helpful & very resourceful. TY!!!!!!
