“An amazing place to stay! Gorgeous views and animals to see and perfect local for take outs and small shops like Tesco or co op. Plenty to do around. Would definitely go back again!”

“I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.”

“Very conveniently located near grocery stores and family that we were visiting. Quiet and safe location.”

“The property was immaculate and spacious in a lovely quiet area. Everything you may need for your stay is provided including a complementary bag with some breakfast and tea and coffee supplies upon arrival. Customer service was excellent. I really can't fault this property at all and I would definately recommend it to others and would revisit myself. ”

Communication easy and very prompt via Hotels.com app and once we arrived, the mobile number was available. Self check in was easy, key safe code provided in advance. Vicky arranged for us to store bikes securely in padlocked barn. Comfortable cottage, slept well, it is very quiet. There is……

Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) Although the house was on the same estate and also had 3 double bedrooms, one of the bedrooms was pretty small, and the original property had the master bedroom on its own top floor ,……

“Clean, well presented, quiet and well organised. Would recommend highly ”

“I had a wonderful stay at Stonecroft Lodge. I have stayed before and will look to return again as testament to the quality of the accommodation and also the peace and relaxation factor.”
