We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay.

Fantastic. We will be back to stay again. (And the cookies are great)
THIS BED AND BREAKFAST WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO ENJOY OUR TIME IN ASHEVILLE. THE OWNERS AND STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO EAT. THE HOUSE WAS WELL MAINTANED.
The location is wonderful. The inn is beautiful but we wouldn't go back under the current ownership.
The Thomas Wolfe room was large. The bathroom was very odd. Interesting and "artwork like" but not totally functional
. Lack of counter space and true bath tub was disappointing.
Supporting staff was friendly and helpful.
Room had a top of line spa bath and steam shower and other amenities. Great breakfast delivered to door. Flavia coffee machine with dozens of coffee pod choices. Mini fridge and microwave. Garden patio. Will return.
Awesome B&B. Lynn and Ron were excellent host. The room was wonderful from the king size bed to the amazing bathroom. Location is close to down town and tourist center. It was everything I wanted and more.
Very well taken care of. Our first stay at a B@B. Enjoyed they 6:00 wine hour where we got to talk to the owners and the other guests. Very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Overall very impressed and would do it again. Only bad thing was a limited choice of restaurants within walking distance.
Nothing was overlooked with our stay. Our hosts, Lynn and Ron, were charming and gracious. Their bed & breakfast home was beautifully decorated, including our room - The Fitzgerald - with attention to every detail. (And, oh, those wonderful sheets). What a delight it was to sit down to an exquisite three-course breakfast, with an especially nice touch of having our coffee/tea arrive at our door at 8:00 a.m. The location is a bit of a walk into downtown Asheville, but certainly doable. Overall, a lovely two night stay. We would certainly return.
We stayed at the Inn for two nights in February along with another couple that we travel with. We stayed in the Fitgerald room and our friends int the O'Henry. Both rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The location is near (10 minute drive) to most of Asheville's sights including the Biltmore. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts and their staff friendly and helpful, We will definitely stay there when we return to Asheville.
From the greeting to the good byes, we were pampered without feeling crowded. Lynn and Ron were gracious, informative, and fun. The room was fabulous, and their complimentary breakfasts were specially created every morning. Wine in the early evenings, and cake and coffee or tea at night made everything superb!
Wonderful Inn. Very hospitable and friendly. If you have dietary restrictions, connect with the Inn before you arrive. They make accommodations if you give them enough time. Can't wait to go back!
P.s. there is a restaurant in walking distance called Nine Mile. It is amazing and affordable!. I wish we went there before our last night.
In an excellent location & close to Visitor Centre
We spent two delightful nights there. Ron & Lyn the Inn Keepers were welcoming, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and friendly as was Pam their helper. The house is large with plenty of space & beautifully furnished. Afternoon drinks and cakes were available. The evening soiree on the verandah with excellent wine and conversation with our fellow guests was terrific. A power cut one morning led to the bonus of a delicious candlelit breakfast and champagne - what more could we ask for?. The nearby Visitor Centre is excellent - take the tram tour. Visit the Basillica, independent shops inc the old Woolworths which houses local artists work & which still has the 50's Soda Fountain. We found some excellent old vinyl in the local record shop but did not expect Asheville to be so modern as we thought it was a 'music town'... That said we were sorry not to be at the house for the weekend live music and, if we can return. will address that next time but then we were in the area after The Bristol Rhythm & Roots Festival.
Everything was as described on-line and just as beautiful as we expected. It was an old home that was in pristine condition and all amenities were modern and convenient...there are few rooms being built today that are as high tech as this one. Bathroom in the Fitzgerald room was amazing.
Unfortunately for us we arrived late could not enjoy our first day there. Greeting was very friendly and informative. Breakfast the next two days was excellent. We would definitely return.
Our innkeepers were Lynn and Ron and were very hospitable and helpful in our stay..
