Little House in Asheville

The size of the house was perfect for my husband and me. There is a nice big deck in the back and it is conveniently located. However, the bed sags in the middle and there was a strong Febreeze smell throughout the house. Although the property is located close to many destinations it is not walkable, there is no way you can walk on the roads and there are no sidewalks.

What a great place and great experience to stay here. So close to everything to see in Asheville; quiet neighborhood; and everything so thought through to feel at home, from fresh water bottles and coffee, to fully equipped kitchen to help save money having to eat out. The back porch is so comfortable - we ate outside one night in a pouring rain storm and it was so much fun! Owner so helpful and available all the way through the process. I stayed with my two adult daughters for a mother/daughter get away. Perfect place to do this! A large extra chair in the living room for extra seating is about the only thing that I could recommend. I will be back!

The pictures misrepresented the place. The bedroom has a pic of a TV. TV never worked. It advertises a garden size bath. yet there is only enough hot water to fill 1/3 of the tub. The pillows were rock hard My neck is still sore. No shampoo. The place us DARK,

Exactly as described & perfect for our needs

The house was perfect for our needs. The house Is beautifully done inside and out. The rental was easy to arrange, and the communication with the host through the VRBO message system was timely before our stay. However, I texted her just before we arrived, asking for a restaurant referral. I also texted her when we got to the house, and when we departed., as she requested. But she did not respond to any of the texts. My only disappointment with the house is that while the neighborhood is quiet, it is so close to I-40, that the interstate traffic noise spoiled outdoor time for us. I’m sure the outdoor grill and fire pit would be very nice features for those not bothered by traffic noise.

Close to everything but also quiet.

If I could give Ms Tracee 6 stars, I would! Her communication even before I booked was prompt and informative. She was even able to let us have an early check in with our baby so she could get her nap time in without disruption from travel. The house has a brand new covered back deck with fire pit and grill. The street is quiet while only being 4 min from Biltmore village and all the cute shops & things to do and does not require 4 wheel drive. Her cottage is colorful and clean and had everything we needed and then some for our family of 3. A good value for what you get and location. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short by a day due to winter storm; and it being January, didn’t spend a ton of time outside, but will return in the spring. The queen bed has a memory foam topper (which you can remove). It was a bit too soft for us, but I think that is just a personal preference since we are used to firmer beds.

Nice Place close to the Biltmore

We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood. GPS directions of of I-40 were a little quirky but other than that I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends.

Close to everything

Great location if you want to be near Biltmore Village, downtown Asheville, or highways. No fireplace or jacuzzi. Kitchen supplies adequate. Clothes dryer may have issues as the house was very moist after running it. Shower was challenging to access with short legs. Like getting on and off a horse. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. The bed could use a new mattress as it sinks in the middle. Other than that- a good stay.

Perfect place for a getaway

This house was perfect for our weekend away in Asheville! The home was cozy and quiet, but only 10 minutes to downtown. It feels like you have your own space away from the craziness but you can go downtown easily. The house was clean and comfy, exactly as described in the listing. The only issue was the mattress sags a bit in the middle. Despite that, we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful

Our stay at Shiloh was wonderful. The house is beautiful and just the size we needed for the 2 of us. Everything was clean and well maintained and everything we needed was available to us. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and a quick drive to anywhere in the Asheville area. Great communication with the host and an easy check-in. Will look to book again on a return visit.

Asheville visit

The property was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We experienced the Biltmore Estate and grounds, Asheville downtown, and the nearby national forests for waterfalls and hiking. Very clean, close to places we wanted to go to. Tub was quite large for getting in and out of and the bed was a small queen that was small for my wife and me. It was a good experience overall
