Country escape is located in a beautiful part of the country, conveniently located to larger cities, and is wonderful accommodations for families. We've enjoyed our visit the past two years.

Great family get away

That location was just as described. It was incredibly beautiful. The weather was perfect. The home was a perfect mix between modern convenience and rustic relaxation. Actually, we could not have picked a better place to stay.

Graduation

This place is awesome. We rented the home for a graduation weekend. Coming from 9 hours away I could not bring my kitchen with me and was delightfully surprised that I didn’t need too. They had everything we needed and more. The yard was perfect for a game of croquet and the kids to run around. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Amazing view

This property location is amazing. The whole property is very well maintained and the house is very clean. The backyard view is the best. Sitting at the dining table eating breakfast and looking through the back door was my favorite.

Quaint Home in the country

What a beautiful home! From arrival to departure, the host was quickly responsive to any questions we had and accommodated to last minute changes. The house was clean, vacuumed and smelt like flowers. All appliances were adequately working and air flow (along with perfect weather) saved us from rarely putting on the AC. Although, we were rarely there during the day, it was the perfect quiet place to come home to after a long festival day! 10/10 highly recommend!

Family Wedding

I would definitely stay here again! Two families (with dogs) had to attend a barn wedding in near by Delaware. This place had everything and more that we needed. Check in and check out was the easiest I have experienced. The kitchen was stocked with condiments, paper products and all the little things so I didn’t have to unpack mine.

Our son‘s wedding

The house was large enough for 10 people to be in comfortably. It was laid out very nicely and has a Great back patio. The location is back off the road so it is very quiet. Everything in the house was perfectly clean and made us fuel very much at home. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We would highly recommend this for anyone staying in the Ashley area.

Roomy and nice country location

We stayed three nights and would definitely stay again. This home is very clean and spacious and very quiet in the country. We were working in the Marengo area. The only drawback would be restaurants. There is nowhere to eat breakfast on the route to where we were working, and we had to travel to Delaware for a selection of restaurants in the evening. Not a deal-breaker, though -- just plan ahead. We attempted to eat at some of the Ashley restaurants, but they were either closed or had staffing issues.

Very nice stay

We rented Andrew's place for our daughter's wedding at the Beverly Mansion and our stay was very nice. The house is large and was able to accommodate the wedding party for the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. No one felt crowded and the dinner turned out great - the driveway is difficult to see at night so we put up a banner at the end it and everyone made it first try. When we checked out and started our trip home, my wife realized that she left her phone in the house but by the time we got back to the house, the lock code had changed. I messaged Andrew and he was very quick to unlock the door and allow my wife back in to get her phone - exceptional service.

We had a great time celebrating our son's wedding. The home had plenty of space and was a great setting. I had 3 small issues: the front door and other places had peeling paint, the clean odor was extremely strong and hard on my nose, and none of the three tuvs had a working plug.

Great Country Setting with all the Necessities!

Fantastic stay just as described work perfectly would highly recommend. I would suggest changing the showerhead in the bathroom off of the living room. I believe it might be broken.

We were really please and it was like a home away from home… I loved the fact that they allowed pets!!! I definitely recommend this property and another plus is that it’s nice and quiet… which is a super plus for veterans with PTSD… don’t let this place sneak away from you you will regret not booking it….

Great spot to gather family

Needed a spot near Delaware so could have a large family gathering and help family in the area downsize. House was perfect size for 9 adults and 2 dogs. Only drawback was the lack of outdoor lighting-very difficult to find in the dark. Would stay there again.
