“This is a great property, well cared for and run. The pool was clean and the kids loved their time here. Highly recommend. Only suggestion would be to make the kitchen utensils etc a little better stocked. Five stars all around - really good value. ”

You do need to hire a car.

“Wir waren als Familie mit Kindern im Sunrise Inn Hotel auf der wunderschönen Insel Kefalonia. Das Hotel hat griechischen Charme, das Frühstück war vielfältig und die Lage war gut um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir hatten ein eigenes kleines Häuschen am Pool. Unsere Jungs konnten jeden Tag kostenlos Tennis spielen inkl. Schlägerverleih. Wirklich toll! Der Pool war auch schön mit Plätzen zum Sitzen und Liegen im Schatten. Alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren immer sehr freundlich.

“Primeiramente, o hotel deveria explicar para todo hóspede, durante a reserva, como fazer para chegar lá. Eu cheguei a Lefkada de ferry no Porto de Sami e fui de carro para o hotel, pela única estrada terrível que existe atualmente, e que me desanimou ter escolhido conhecer a ilha de Lefkada. Qdo cheguei no hotel, perguntei na recepção sobre a estrada que dá acesso ao hotel e então que me foi explicado que a maneira mais fácil de ir para o hotel é pegando o ferry em Argostoli para Lixouri. “We were a happily surprised by our stay as the property is much better in person than in the photos. The owner, Stavros, is an incredible host and takes great pride in providing the best experience possible in every way. The common space is a huge, shaded patio with gorgeous plants and comfortable seating overlooking the charming port town. Location is fantastic and a short walk to many restaurants, etc. The bed was super comfortable (unlike so many we’ve experienced in Greece).

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sami Beach Hotel. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior). Caroline on reception and owner Spiro couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely family run hotel.
20 minutes walk to supermarket and restaurants on the seafront. However the restaurant in the square, few minutes walk is very good and great atmosphere. Would suggest……

“As soon as I arrived they knew my name. They take great pride in their apartments and it shows. The room was spotless and the pictures don't do them justice when it comes to the overall look and feel. The breakfast was also very good value for money and the restaurant by the pool was a lovely quiet spot in the morning to enjoy it.
I would recommend this place to anyone and would happily stay again in a heartbeat. A real gem. ”
