Petralona metro station 500 M away from the apartment that can take you to the city centre within 1-2 stops, shopping mall, etc', but we can assure you that you would like to walk around.
Take a short walk to Petralona square, there you will find multiple cool bars, local restaurants and cafes and even a very nice farmer market every Friday.
Last but not least, don't forget! the Acropolis of Athens is with a short walking distance from the apartment!
