Amazing 2 bed apartment in Athens

We LOVED our stay here, we stayed in the City Apartment (Rooftop), the location was amazing, safe, in a great area for food/drinks. Approx 10 min walk to Plakka. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was great. I'd 100% stay here again and have recommended the apartment to several friends! The view of the acropolis from the roof is AMAZING! An added bonus we weren't expecting!

When we arrived, the property wasn’t ready. Had to wait about 30 minutes after the initial entrance time. The place appeared clean and we really weren’t there too much other than to shower and sleep. The shower had a slow drain that probably has already been fix. The location is within walking distance to the metro and bus system.

Even though the property is near the acropolis, we would not recommend it if you are older, disable, unable to walk, or do not have the ability to haul all of your luggage to the premise. Where it's located, taxis can't drive you directly to the place. You have to walk up a steep hill for a good couple of blocks with your luggage. However, the location is great for walking around town and it's right next to the acropolis. The place was clean, however, the shower could use a good scrubbing since there were mold. Management was nice and easy to contact.

My daughter and I had a wonderful 6 night stay in the Garden Suite. Perfect location for exploring Athens, with several dining options, shopping, the entrance to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum just steps away down beautiful streets. It was perfect!

Great Room with Super Location

This place has a GREAT location, but it's a little hard to find at first. Very comfortable room with a small kitchen. Entrance to the Acropolis is maybe 50 meters downhill on the street (Go early).

Best location. Spacious, comfortable, neat, well decorated. Acropolis, shopping, great restaurants nearby. It’s recommended to follow instructions prior to check in. Very well response and assistance from owner and property manager. Highly recommended!

Central Plaka location. Communication was really good, they sent pictures of the property and the key box etc. ahead of time. Everything was seamless. Amazing view from the balcony, restaurants all around. Great amenities, the washer was very helpful to get our laundry done towards the end of our trip. Only thing that could possibly improve is some of the corners of the shower could be painted over so it does not look peeling or dirty. I would stay here again, very spacious.

This is a great property. There needs to be some communication with Expedia, as the address is not correct for the City Rooftop Apartment, as it is closer to Syntagma Square. However, other than that issue, the communication was great, the location is great for dining options and getting around, the place is spacious and the rooftop has a great view of the Acropolis. Highly recommended!

A little confusing to get to but it didn’t take long. We were able to walk to everything, the room was super cool, had 2 cutout’s covered in plexiglass that you can see maybe old ruins? Nice patio where you can hear live music from the restaurant near by.

do NOT trust that photo that lured you in, nor the address - where Google Maps shows the property as right under the Acropolis! The don't tell you that only 1 of the rentals/rooms is at the address/property shown off. I'd made the booking based on the address & was not informed of the different, actual address in a very different part of town until too late. No apology. No restitution.

Acropolis suites uses photos of other places to make it look like you are staying somewhere you are actually not. The photos clearly show the place under the Acropolis when it is actually center slums of Athens. They will take your money and refuse to refund when you dont even stay there. Expedia WILL NOT stand behind the customers either. . I have photos and an email from Acropolis Suites stating the address is false on Expedia. We received the email 2 days before arrival to Greece and we booked the room 4 months ago. We didn't even stay there because the building and area was scary. EXPEDIA STANDS BEHIND FRAUDULENT BUSINESSES ON THERE WEBSITE! They will not get my money back! Expedia is the ones that are responsible for allowing this to happen! It should come out of there pocket!

This is a mixed review. First off let me say it has one of the best locations in all of Athens. Everything including the Acropolis is within easy walking distance. The Plaka is right there and made short work of dinner, shopping, and gelato trips. This is where things got a bit disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable and our ground floor unit was always dark with unmovable drapes on the windows and doors. Internet was slow and bbc was the only English speaking channel available. The biggest problem was the showers in our unit. The drains backed up after more than a minute of use and poured water all over the floor. Management was informed of this, but the problem persisted all week we there. The top unit might be much better, however is only meant for smaller groups. The Acropolis Suites have great potential if a few issues could be resolved.

Great Spot!

Really great location in the center of the city. The place is very nice, clean, and well equipped. We enjoyed having the kitchenette (stove, fridge, coffee maker, plates) so we could do some cooking and save money :)

There are several things we liked...location was amazing, acropolis just steps away, Plaka neighborhood is fun and we were close to everything. Billy even let us in early to drop our luggage in the room so we could get to our tour on time. After that we had issues. You couldn't lock the room Door from the inside, the wifi bill hadnt been paid in few weeks so it was turned off, you dont get any service in the room at all without wifi. The thing that really bothered us is that the bedding was still damp we had to put it all outside to dry. The room has very high humidity and clothing, linen & towels get damp. We made the best of our time, we never did hear back from Billy when asked questions it all just seemed disappointing. The place is in an ideal location if you deal with some inconvienences you will have a great time. I wouldnt choose to stay here again.

Amazing place! We were moved to Suite 1 as we thought Lakka apartment, which we have initially booked, was also at the property in Plaka/ Acropolis. Thank you! Our family of 4 had an amazing time in Athens because of this location. We could get anywhere in 10-20 mins by walking, which was amazing, as otherwise kids wouldn't make it to many places. Suite 1 has that unbelievable terrace -just wow! Apartment is modern and beautiful.There were few wears and tears but nothing major. The only thing that could be improved is heating - it wasn't really warm, but from what we heard that's the case with most of the properties throughout Mediterranean region this time of the year - also temps were colder than usual and since there is no central heating, just split AC/Heat units, units couldn't keep up (top temp was 16C inside) but we managed. Space heaters would make huge difference in winter months. Regardless, we LOVED that place and location and if we are coming back to Athens, we will definitely try to book it again! Staying here will make your trip. There is also fantastic restaurant next doors Cave of Acropolis, but nothing will beat sitting on the terrace with glass of wine, looking at beautiful panorama of Athens on one side and Acropolis Hill on the other! To the host: Thank you for this amazing stay! already several friends asked for info on this place as they are all blown away with the pictures!

My family and I stayed here from 12/26–1/2. It was as close to perfect as I can think of. Despite a bit of confusion regarding check-in, I am exceedingly happy that we chose this property. It’s as close to the Acropolis you can get, and the location is incredibly convenient to restaurants and everything you want to see in the Plaka. We walked everywhere and only needed transportation to the airport. If you want the ultimate in location, space, and cleanliness, then this is the place to book! We loved it!

The accommodations and location were perfect. Only issue was not knowing we needed to inform the “owners” we were at the hotel, as there was no reception desk or front office. We had to drag our luggage around trying to find it, and then waited for about 20 min to be let in to the establishment. When I did have to call the “owners” he wasn’t that friendly and I felt as if I was bothering him.
