“This place is very good. You should stay here. It's simple and straightforward, but you can tell that the owners/operators truly care and have sweated the details. This is a place where they can proudly invite their friends and family to stay. Name-brand toilet paper, nice shampoo and body wash and lotion, nice bathroom fixtures, nice towels, good mattresses, lots of hooks on the walls for hanging your gear, white noise machines to combat the train noise (which didn't bother me at all), and……

“First room had a horrible smell coming from the empty pool . Second room had pigeons living in our ac unit . There was pigeon droppings all along the window sill . Couldn’t open window because of it . I can’t believe the 7.4 reviews!! Will not recommend this hotel.”

“Everything was good! Breakfast was good. Our room was good, for an extended stay. We brought our dog with and felt the dog yard was on the smaller side but it wasn't bad, and they did provide dog bags for clean up. Pool was on the smaller side (4ft depth) but overall good for the pool/hot tub area and the kids enjoyed it. Staff were polite at check in/out but not over barring. Staff at breakfast were kind as well. We will stay here again in the future!”

“Check in was good. Theses are small cabins. 2 are connected. Our key would not work well in the door lock. The door knob seemed like it was ready to fall off. You don’t have a lot of TV channels, but sufficed. It was a small cabin, not a major hotel. It was nice for what it was. The shower was good. A lot of hot water. I believe it is the only place to stay in spirit Lake.”
