Great Location, Attentive Owner

The property is two apartments, rented individually or separately. The two were perfect for our family gathering of 10 and could have accommodated a few more if needed. We had a couple of minor issues, but the owner responded immediately, and we were able to get a quick resolution. There is no assigned parking, but we were able to get spots right in front of the house without an issue.

Sadly, this was a disappointing experience.The list of issues include:Upon arrival broken furniture on decks, smoke detector beeping. Notified owner and he dismissed broken furniture as not an amenity.He sent someone to fix smoke detector 4 hours later. Instead of replacing battery, just removed it and placed it in garage. Is that legal with a rental?all dishes/ silverware and pots dirty-needed washing before use.All windows painted shut-smelled of scent over mildew. Had to use AC during beautiful weather. Doors and gates don’t shut fully.Outdoor lighting on timer, so bright couldn’t enjoy porch in the evenings.Unpredictable hot water. Most showers were cold only!Such a horrible stay, we left a day early! You have been warned. I will report to Vrbo for refund
