The motel Was very close to the beach, which was excellent. But it is very rundown. The rug in the room is very dirty And the beds were not very comfortable. We never saw a maid for the four days we were there, Not sure why we would see them around, but they never came to our room. When I ask for towels, they were supposedly brought, and left outside our room And we found them the next day on a different floor Outside someone else’s room. It was Not a cheap room so I expected a little bit more

Blast from the past beach stay.

The place was a great value. Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Room looked like it has not been updated since 1960. Very clean room. Staff were friendly.

Very upset customer

My family has stayed here for over 60 year. Myself the last 10 years.when we arrived This year the pool was shut done my the city. Saying unsafe and unsanitary. We were not told about it. They don’t clean your room anymore, make your bad give you clean tows. When asked they said they don’t do that anymore this is on the beach so our room was full of sand not even a rug to wipe our feet. We stayed for 3 night and had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper. What used to be an amazing little CLEAN place is now more.

It was close to the board walk of Ocean City, NJ. There was plenty of hot water for showering. There were many restaurants nearby for all three meals.

Disappointed!

In all the years that I have been coming to the Tahiti Inn, this is the first year I was a bit disappointed. The pool area always had a lifeguard, the lounge chairs were not comfortable at all; the rooms were cleaned without requesting the service. I have to say I rate you a 7 in a scale of one thru ten. I know that with these hard times things change; but customer service is important, there was no one at the front desk when I checked out to return my key either!

Bare bones accommodations

Perfect location steps from the boardwalk. The room was very tight, but clean with comfortable beds. Heated pool, bring your own towel. No beach tags, even though there was mention of them on the website. Bring quarters for the ice machine.

Upgraded room was not great. Bathroom extremely small. Small room AC in only small window in room. Nothing to keep noise out. Tiny TV. Very little amenities. Although only 2 floors, there is no elevator. No safety bars in Tub. Office staff was nice. Hot and cold water was actually switched in room. Place is badly in need of complete makeover.

Over priced and dingy

Overpriced and poor quality. The rooms were ok in cleanliness, but very small, dingy and outdated. Paint peeling and rustiness. The property says no smoking, but there are 3 located (that we saw) near, including two at the pool (gross). Honestly, the worst insult is the amount of money you are paying for - which is 100% for proximity to the beach, nothing else. Also the pictures on hotel.com of the rooms look NOTHING like it. At the rate it costs, do yourself a favor and either add a few bucks and book another location or find another one. Crazy they charge this much for this…

The pictures online are deceiving. My room didn't look anything like them. When we arrived we were told they were out of towels and pillowcases. The man in the office was nice enough but hours later, still no towels or pillowcases. I contacted and he finally brought them down. Later I kept finding ants everywhere, my room smelled like weed when I arrived and later after being on the boardwalk for hours, we came back our room and it smelled like cigarette smoke.

Super run down property. Sign that says smoke free property but yet smoking areas all over to point it just reeks of smoke. Lounge chairs are super old and uncomfortable. The shower they want guests to use to rinse before pool is gross and dirty. Communication with front desk is hard they either don’t respond to texts or not in office. We rented the apartments which were renovated but cheaply the night stands are like supported by toothpicks they are so wobbly. No place to store luggage or items. No shelves or luggage racks. They no longer offer room service to clean. So getting toilet paper, towels was difficult. Trash was hard to get emptied. Lastly their staff double parks behind guests so you can’t leave. Multiple times was blocked in when I needed to leave early. Would not recommend staying here and will not be staying here again.

Dissapointed

My wife & I were disappointed. Service could have been much better. No-one seemed to care about supplies in the room, or fixing or replacing a the bathroom light. (never addressed in 3 days) Parking limitations. apparently people overstayed & left cars in the lot the beds were actually very comfortable & room was clean, but the room was very outdated and not very well supplied with soap or towels or tp.
