Great spot just south of Auckland . Got into room way early . Right opposite is a fantastic pub for great food and drinks .

Location was convenient for what we were doing in South Auckland. Sunday morning noise was not too bad but would be noisy during the week right on the roadside. Was clean and tidy but needed some maintenance. The biggest thing was there was no tea bags (only green tea) and silly sachets of milk!!

We have stayed here many times and it is very convenient.Only problem is it is only partly updated. New kitchen, carpet, needs a new shower and certainly new bed. So uncomfortable and only one cheap pillow with no substance each. No spares.

Room was not clean I stayed two nights and the only thing they did was add 2 towels to the room nothing else was done . Not worth the money

The unit was well appointed and very clean although the furnishings were all mismatched. The down side was the noise from the unit above us. Parking was a problem as the property was full and many units had more than one vehicle..

Comfortable, well cleaned. Eating utensil like can opener unworkable. Had trouble operating television. Only one remote provider where two was reqiuired. Had to fiddle with set to get it to work

Great location if you need to break up a long car journey, as close to motorway and friendly pub directly across road for an evening meal. Unit was clean and tidy. Check-in seamless and staff very welcoming. All was great til we went to bed. Unfortunately, there is a complete lack of noise proofing between units. Woken throughout the night by constant coughing from one very unwell guest above, audible conversations from the unit next door and guests shifting luggage or furniture around in the unit above us. Vehicles are parked directly in front of units so cars coming and going throughout the night also created disruption. We checked out before 7am. Avoid booking a ground level unit, unless you’re a very heavy sleeper or have ear plugs. It was a Thurs night, so I imagine it’s even louder on weekends when more guests are in.

On a busy road. No soundproofing between rooms. Can hear ppl upstairs walking around, flushing the loo, talking, doors slamming. 2 guests - 2 towels and faceclothes replaced with only 1 towel and facecloth for our 2nd day

Decent room but on a main road with loud road traffic all night. Nice Irish pub directly across the street.

Good quality, clean bedding and fantastic water pressure in the large shower. Nice and quiet, with a little balcony area at the rear overlooking a pretty decent lawn area. Room could have done with an air out prior to arrival, but was relatively clean and a good size unit. Tv wasnt going, but we couldn't be bothered ringing the staff to sort it, and used the free wifi to stream a movie on our devices instead. (Staff are friendly, and when I informed them about tv in the morning, they said we could have rung and they would have sorted it) Aircon comfort, and a small kitchenette make it a homely stay.

Presentation of lodge very poor. Grass hanging out of spouting. Needs sprucing up. Obviously they cater for WINZ, as i was practically abused by a woman who was in our carpark. We paid for a deluxe suite. Yeh right, curtains didn't draw across properly, carpet pulled away from lino. Skirtings with paint missing. It was a budget room not a deluxe suite! Small holes in sheets. I didn't actually feel safe. Could hear the 'Winz" clients with raised voices in other rooms. I wouldn't be going back any time, but it was close to where we needed to be.
