The Space:
Manea Villa is laid out for everyday holiday living, with generous rooms and a simple flow that works well for groups. The main living and dining area is bright and comfortable, designed for shared meals, games, and time together. A gas fire provides warmth on cooler evenings, while the overall layout keeps the house functional rather than formal.
The kitchen is professionally equipped and set up for practical use, whether you are making quick breakfasts before heading out or preparing group dinners at the end of the day. The living spaces connect easily to the outdoors, with doors opening onto patios and lawn areas that give everyone room to spread out.
Large, flat lawns surround the home and are a key feature of the property. They are well suited to children playing, casual outdoor games, or relaxed afternoons outside while others cook or read indoors. The outdoor areas are open and usable, rather than landscaped or enclosed.
The main house includes four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, all finished in a simple, comfortable style with good bedding and garden outlooks. A separate sleep-out sits away from the main house and provides a fifth bedroom with its own ensuite and external access. This works well for grandparents, another couple, or older children who want a bit of separation while still being part of the group.
Overall, the home is designed to be easy and accommodating, with enough space for everyone to be together without feeling crowded.

Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, including the main house, sleep-out, lawns, patios, and outdoor areas.
Check in is from 2:00 pm and check out is by 10:30 am. Early check in or late check out may be available for an additional fee and will be confirmed closer to your stay. These options cannot be offered when there is a same day guest changeover.
Parking is available on site.
The Neighborhood:
Manea Villa is located just outside Oneroa Village, offering a quieter residential setting while remaining close to the island’s main centre. The village is a short drive away and is home to cafés, galleries, shops, and everyday services.
For daytime meals, Wai Kitchen is a popular option for brunch and lunch, while Solar Eating House offers casual food in a relaxed garden setting. In the evening, The Oyster Inn is a long standing favourite for seafood and classic island dining, and Aperitivo provides a more casual option for drinks and shared plates.
The property also sits close to central vineyards. Cable Bay and Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant are both a short drive away and well suited to long lunches and tastings. For something more relaxed, The Heke is nearby and popular for casual meals, open space, and craft beer.
Beaches, walking tracks, vineyards, and the village are all within easy reach, making the location practical for guests who want convenience without being in the middle of town.
Getting Around:
Buses run from the Matiatia passenger ferry through Oneroa and continue on to Palm Beach and Onetangi, stopping near major vineyards along the way, including The Heke. This makes it easy to explore the island without needing a car.
For guests driving, parking is available on site and access to Oneroa Village and the island’s main routes is straightforward. Taxis and private drivers operate across Waiheke, though availability can be limited during busy periods.
Other Things to Note:
The property runs on rainwater tanks, as is standard on Waiheke Island, so guests are asked to use water thoughtfully during their stay.
Minimum stay requirements apply. Bookings require a minimum of seven nights from mid December to mid January, three nights on holiday weekends, and two nights at all other times.
