It was very clean, comfortable and stocked with items that supplemented our needs for cooking, laundry and more. The snack basket was a hit with the grandkids as was the wooded area they spent some time walking through. I would love to stay here again should overnight accommodations be needed in the future.」

Once you enter into the hallway to the rooms, its dirty, stained and smells musty and with an unpleasant smell you can't quite place. The room looked fine upon first glance. The more you looked, the more you saw. Dirt and other things on walls. Missing paint and spots on the wall. Very dated and obvious wear and tear. 「This rental was perfect for our needs. My wife and I were stopping through St. Louis on our way to another destination, and were traveling with our two small dogs. We love historic Saint Charles, and decided to book this place right on Main Street. It was just the right size for a short stay, was clean and easy to access, and was in a great spot in proximity to the shops and restaurants in the historic part of town. No complaints!」

「Actually I end up not staying a night of the scheduled 3 nights. I tried to get s refund but it seems the modus operande is to exhaust your patience and time so as to make you give up your claim. First, the host failed to provide any instruction as to check in, how to get the keys, and most important is that after 10PM, nobody’s there to attend to you! Arrive 12AM after a 4-hour drive and end up not able to check in. Contacted the number in the email which end up to be a call to Switzerland,...

「I liked that the air conditioner worked. Otherwise, the place was a dump in need of repair. The outside doors to get in the hallway were broken. So, anyone could get in. There was a full kitchen with absolutely nothing to go with it. Not even a small coffee maker. Towels in the bathroom were hand towels or floor towels, not bath size. Oh, and the remote was broken held together with a hair tie around 1 AA battery and one AAA. After purchasing batteries and installing them it still didn’t work....
