“We had an amazing time. This was a percet location to stay for visiting the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. The location allowed for short drives to both museums. It is conveniently located near the highway, but no highway noise. There is also a nice Kroger, Starbucks, restaurants and gas stations nearby. The campground is clean and the staff was very friendly. ”

“Bachelorette party of 8 women from ages 21-54, stayed 3 days/2 nights. Property as pictured in the listing. The location was great, property is beautiful, quiet area & the house was very clean. Everything you need is provided. All linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, kitchen soap, K-cups, Keurig, dishes, bags of ice in the freezer, & toilet paper. I honestly can't think of anything that would have made it better. Grocery store, food, & dollar store close by. No issues getting an Uber to take……

“The place was great and the location was quaint. We could not use the garage, which, as women traveling, is a security item we look for. The host thought of everything and the back yard was beautiful. The one bed was too tall even for the one of us who was 5'9" or so, but the other beds were okay.”

We came back to peace after being around crowds all day. The kitchen was well furnished with all we needed for enjoying our homemade meals. We especially enjoyed the plush white towels and bedding! We would definitely stay here again!”

“5 stars – A Sweet Stay for Our Jazz Fest Weekend!We stayed here July 24–27 for a friends and family trip to the Jazz Festival, and this home was the perfect space for our group of seven. The house was spacious, clean, and surprisingly affordable for a festival weekend—that alone gets a standing ovation from us!Coming from Texas, we aren’t used to basements, so that part gave me a little pause—it felt like the opening scene of a suspense lifetime movie! “We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Traveling with our family of 8, our kids enjoyed the backyard and having room to spread out throughout the house. It was kind of like staying at your cool cousin's house! We loved all the crafty touches throughout the house. The road in front is very busy, but the sound machines and ear plugs provided really help with the noise. Also, the fenced in backyard was really nice to unwind in. “There is only A/C in the kitchen, living room, and one bedroom (barely). Two of the bedrooms were unusable because they were too hot. Communication was terrible. Emails went unanswered. Inconsistencies in listing, automatic message after booking, and information provided by host upon arrival. There was no way to use the TVs when we arrived (host did order in a remote after I called - with wrong batteries of course). No wifi password listed. I had to call for that as well. “This is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the lakeview. It is nicely decorated, with a well equipped kitchen. Four women stayed there comfortably. My granddaughters loved the luxurious shower snd the free kayaks. I loved just sitting on the deck, and looking at the peaceful water. Though I live less than an hour away, it was a real vacation for me. We will definitely be back. Granny of Cold Spring,Ky.”
