Loved the place! It was clean fun and in a beautiful location! The only issue I had was that it is a little pricy for how far away it is from everything. Other than that it was an amazing place to stay!

Very Cute Little Cabin

Texas Hill Country

Great location that is not too far from Dripping Springs and the facilities are awesome. Nice to sit outside at night with our group of friends or early in the morning. Beds were very comfortable and everything was well supplied.

Adventure getaway

The place was nice. The hotplate was not working at all and it took an hour to cook four slices of bacon and scramble four eggs. Also bring your own pillows as the pillows downstairs we very old and flat. Everything else was fine!

Peaceful, Quiet and comfortable

Very nice and quiet. No phone service on the property at all. You have to drive down the road about 2 miles to get service. Wi-Fi is very weak as well "Hill Country Network" is a know problem. Overall I will be back. Loved the room very cozy.

Cute little place

We chose to stay in a cabin vs renting a hotel room. It was definitely the better decision. We were in town for a wedding in the area. The cabin was clean and had just enough space for our family of 4. The only thing that would have been helpful would be a hook or something to hang clothes. I improvised and it worked out, ok. The girls enjoyed playing, while we sat and had coffee on the porch. It was perfect for what we needed. We would stay again!

Very rustic

Clean, comfortable place to sleep. Extremely quiet which we loved. I may have missed it in the description when booking… but the oven was a toaster oven and stove was a hot plate. The refrigerator was a dorm fridge. We brought food to cook and there wasn’t a convenient way to do so. We did leave two nights early to sleep in our own bed. We did read that the pillows were old and flat in a review. They were. I brought my own pillow which made it better.

Pro's -Love the hideaway atmosphere. Very comfortable room. Clean. Cons- This site is not in Dripping Springs. It's 17 miles away from Dripping Springs. The Cell phone service does not exist. The Wi-Fi is sketchy for the TV

Very nice property

Process was a little confusing. Did not know who I was renting from. Tried to use the vrbo app which really sucked. Could not get into it. Luckily it all worked out when I spoke to someone on the phone.

Charming

The property area is beautiful and the cabin has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The heaters worked perfectly well. We stayed the night of 01/07 and the low was 28 but we slept comfortably warm. The only area for improvement would be cleanliness. Our cabin was really dusty. It definitely needed a thorough dust wipe down, vacuum, and mopping treatment. My wife and I along with my two year old were sneezing frequently. Other than that I’d definitely stay here again!

Would recommend for a short stay

This place had what we needed for a weekend stay to attend a wedding. It's definitely great for how many beds it had at the price I got it at! The upstairs is a loft. For some reason, I thought it had a full wall closing it off, but it's just a railing, so keep that in mind. I wish I could give 4.5 stars for some minor issues. There was some hair on the sheets on the downstairs bed, there was an iron but no ironing board, the pillows were pretty flat, and the directions to the house were a little confusing. I didn't contact the owner about these things because we figured out solutions on our own - and like I said, they were minor issues - so I'll keep my official rating at 5 stars.

Safari stay

Safari House Very remote, quiet location. It's a windy drive from town, but it's very easy to find. We stayed two nights and the second night the TV would not stay connected to the WiFi. Our phones could connect, but even after disconnecting all devices the TV would cut out after a few minutes and take at least 5 to connect again after getting out of an app. B/c of this, we headed down to propane fire pit, but it wouldn't ignite. We were able to enjoy a quiet night outside. There is a common area parking spot. All four cabins share it so you cannot pull right up to your cabin. The property was very clean and cute. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a mounted shampoo/conditioner dispenser and was clean. The sheets were pretty bad, but if you bring your own you'll be fine. I went with my mom and daughter for a DS/Johnson City girls trip. There was plenty of space for the three of us. All amenities were accurately listed. Recommend!

Best for short stays and 3-4 people max

Check in is easy and seamless. The property is cute and has a rustic log cabin feel. The surrounding area is remote, but that seems typical for the area. There several deer that made their way thru in the mornings and early evenings, so that was cool. However the property was not clean upon arrival and appeared that it was not swept as there was alot of grass and hair on the floor. The owner communicated quickly about having the housekeeper come back to spot clean,, but my guests had already settled in and didn't want someone in the place while their stuff was there. As the weekend went on, we noticed alot of thick standing dust and cobwebs everywhere (light fixtures, fans etc.). This was a chilly weekend and there is no heat supplied to the bathroom and the hot water was spotty. So that made for some quick, cold showers. There were 3 of us in this property. And although this advertises that it sleeps 6, it really only comfortably fits 3 or 4 with luggage. Overall, this property is a decent stay for short trips and small groups, but I wouldn't recommend for 6 people.
