Great yha to stay
It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc.

Eigenlijk vonden we dit een geweldige jeugdherberg. Alles wat je hier zag ws zo schoon en netjes opgeruimd. Heel bijzonder. Avimore is een heel leuke plaats, met veel eetgelegenheden. Achter de jeugdherberg vind je een mooi bergachtig gebied, Graigelachie.

Lovely hostel
Nice hostel for a short stay. Easy walk to the town centre, shops and the train station. Our car broke down on the night of check in and Lee was very helpful by waiting for my arrival. Kudos!

No communication that facilities all shut!
No facilities on offer and nothing mentioned when booking! What is a youth hostel without any common area or cooking facilities! Port communication ruined our break.

We stayed in a 3-person room that had an en-suite bathroom with shower. It was great to be able to make our own meals and have access to a washing machine. It's within a quick walk of the centre of Aviemore, and right next to a great place for walks, Craigellachie National Nature Reserve.

Excellent location only 10mins walk from the train station and town centre, great condition inside, fast easy check in, well equipped kitchen for making food, lovely big showers, nice comfortable beds, it's in the forest so nice and quiet,

Super nice common area and kitchen had great faci

Perfect as always
It's my 3rd stay here and excellent as usual. I went for a single room this time and it was just as expected. Facilities on site are excellent and very impressed with the kitchen. It's walking distance to pubs and supermarkets too.

Friday
Was great until residents ignored curfew times, woke everyone up at 0412 trying to get in. Someone let them in and no sleep afterwords as they ran around like children. Get a grip
