It was very nice, clean and secluded from the city (which was very much needed). I enjoyed being able to hear the birds, and getting in touch with nature. Taking the kayaks to the lake as the sunset was we setting was a lovely view to just sit and watch. Will be sure to keep this place in mind!

We just loved it. My wife and I have been there before. If you just want to relax and overlook the lake or even fish. It's all in the backyard. Cook on the grill, kayak or just lounge in a chair like we did. It's very quiet and peaceful. No tv, just good ole relaxation. Frank and Linda the hosts. We just love them to death. Amazing little gem in East Texas!! We had a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing 5 days here. The cabin was beautiful with the live edge pine and cedar on the walls. The hosts were very welcoming, kind, and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure our trip was an enjoyable one and we had everything we needed. The baked treats were delicious. They also made our dogs feel very welcome and surprised them with a lovely treat bag. We read the amenities ahead of time so knew we would need to bring items to grill. The access to the water was so convenient and the kayaks were in great shape. This trip made us really appreciate the things we sometimes take for granted….beautiful sunsets, sound of waves, playing games together, having wonderful conversations, watching the birds, watching our pups swim, and just slowing down! I will definitely recommend this precious, well crafted cabin!! Thank you Frank and Linda.

Simply amazing!

Perfect way to escape the city. Didn’t hear a car for almost 3 days. Tucked away with water access. The bed is too comfortable. Hard to get out of bed. (Good thing) Saw a bald eagle! Muffins were the best I’ve tasted in my life. 10/10

2 night getaway

The cabin and property are beautifully maintained. There are so many thoughtful details throughout: in the cabin, on the front and back porch and deck, even chairs at the waters edge. The hosts are gracious and kind and go out of their way to ensure your visit is pleasant and comfortable. I was welcomed with delicious baked yummies and even a treat bag for my dog. It was above and beyond my expectations, I had the nicest peaceful retreat. Thank you Frank and Linda!

Cabin is very quaint and well maintained with a beautiful view. Everything is clean and as presented in pictures. Frank and Linda are wonderful hosts. She even left us fresh baked cookies, muffins and gift a bag of goodies.

Peaceful stay

Words can’t describe

All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas.

Great experience

Property was as described and very comfortable for us and our pups. Caught some fish, saw a magnificent sunrise, and the extra bonus was meeting Frank and Linda. Relaxing retreat

From the moment we started talking with Frank and Linda about booking, they were so kind, even wanting to provide a treat for our dog if he was with us. As soon as we walked in the door, the peace and serenity of the place greeted us, along wth homemade goodies (we ate them all over the weekend). The view of the lake was breathtaking. We rested a lot, and kayaked. I would recommend taking a couple of travel hammocks because napping under the pines hearing the water gently moving was so refreshing. Frank has beautiful woodworking for sel but more than that, both he and Linda was so sweet to talk with. We will definitely be back.

East Texas Hidden Gem

Cute little 1 room 1 bath cabin for 2 that’s pet friendly and on the lake. Everything is as clean as can be, neat & orderly. The owners are extremely friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure you’re completely happy and comfortable. They’re very helpful and communicative. When we arrived we were met at the driveway by Frank who offered to help carry things in. He goes over everything with you and makes sure you understand before he leaves. We were also greeted with muffins, cookies, and treats for our dogs all made by Linda. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks again for sharing this cabin with us!! We will definitely be back!
