    Very happy with our holiday.

    Very happy with our holiday. Perfect for our dog as able to be enclosed on the decking whilst watching the world go by.Very well equipped lodge and facilities. Lovely to have an evening drink outside from the bar as the sunsets, taking in the views across the Devonshire countryside.

    We loved Marple Lodge it was spacious, clean & very well equipped, the furnishings were of a high standard & it was very comfortable with a large terrace with good quality patio furniture.The location of Marple Lodge was perfect for my elderly mum as it was next door to the restaurant so very little walking.The car parking & spaces were perfect

    As previously stated, any problem that arises is immediately dealt with.

    As previously stated, any problem that arises is immediately dealt with. We were unfortunate that we had a particularly heavy fall of snow on the day and night before we were due to leave and were initially disappointed that the quite steep sloping road next to our lodge had not been gritted, meaning that our car was slipping and sliding, with no chance of making it up the hill. However, one quick call to reception was enough for a small posse to come straight down and, armed with grit, were able to push us up on to the level, from where we were able to make our way home. A big thanks to them for their help. It's a beautiful location, and the thought of being snowed in has never before crossed our minds!

    Great lodge, location and facilities Cleaning was very disappointing- lodge was not cleaned when we checked in at 4.30pm and standard of cleaning was very poor
