"A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. "Really nice home but there is only a portable A/C unit. There is no outside vent on the portable unit so it was useless. The house holds heat with little cross ventilation if bedroom doors are closed. We had to open the sliding doors. No screens so I got a lot of mosquito bites. We loved the location and very private."

Alle 3 Schlafzimmer liegen leider an einer Durchgangsstraße, die auch Nachts stark und schnell befahren wird. Fenster öffnen ist unmöglich. Die super leise Klimaanlage hat das Problem gelöst. "We loved the house , modern, tastefully decorated. Fab garden and nice and quiet as is the resort. Local beach is 10 mins away by car and stunning. More like a surfing beach as waves are huge. Definitely recommend the house. The resort has a great golf course, some tennis and oaddle courts and a club house. A great week for my family"

"We travelled from the South of Spain in the summer to go somewhere cooler that had access to Golf, and plenty of space for our two dogs. Most days were 23C or thereabouts, and the property is on the edge of some great dog walking tracks. Pool was warm and clean, and property comfortable and everything worked well during our stay."

"Cute and quaint old school feel. Great if you love old books and reading in libraries. Bedding was lacking in pillows. Other than a tiny fridge, no other room amenities like coffee/tea or complimentary water. I also had to request my VIP perk of 1 bottle of wine as it was not offered it to me upon checkin. Overall, you get what you pay for staying in a book-themed auberge in a very touristy old-world town like Obidos. "
