Schönes Hotel mit direktem Bademantelgang zur Rottal Therme. Großes Zimmer mit Terrasse. Gut durchdachtes Beleuchtungskonzept. Restaurant auch sehr gemütlich mit vielen Zweier Tischen. Therme kostet extra, ist aber deutlich günstiger, als der Eintritt vor ort.

Sanatorium

Guten Tag, Wir haben vier Nächte in diesem Hotel gebucht. Die Gegend ist hervorragend zum Radfahren und die Gastronomie in den umliegenden Lokalen in und um Bad Birnbach zu empfehlen und zu geniessen. Das Hotel entspricht nicht einem Viersternehotel. Beschreibung entspricht nicht dem Hotel, es ist vorerst einmal als Sanatorium gedacht und für Personen die in Reha sind. Im Dorf ausgeschildert und auf dem Plakat beim Hotel. Die Zimmer sind zwar groß aber sehr rudimentär ausgestattet und ohne Komfort.. Es ist auch kein Zimmer aber eher ein kleines Appartement. WLAN funktioniert nicht, obwohl ich auf das Problem an der Rezeption aufmerksam gemacht habe und auch die Lösungen dazu mitlieferte, wollte man einem Informatiker nicht zuhören und beharrte auf eine Vorgehensweise. Tipp: einfach über das Loby WLAN sich einen Account selber erstellen, was aber laut der Rezeption nicht für die Gäste sein sollte aber dann auch in anderen Gaststätten der Gegend einsetzbar ist. Organisation Frühstück: man wird einem Tisch mit anderen Gästen zugeordnet, obwohl viele Tische bereits leer sind. Einstiegsbild auf Hotels.com entspricht nicht der Realität, Schwimmbad gehört nicht zum Hotel, ist mit Ermäßigung kostenpflichtig. Hotel für Personen in der Reha oder in Konvaleszenz ideal und geeignet, und als Sanatorium / Kurhotel „für alle Kassen“ geeignet, wie auf dem Schild am Eingang steht, ist aber kein vier Sterne Hotel, wie sie üblicherweise auf Hotels.com angeboten werden.

Keinerlei Wellness inklusive, unkomfortable Zimmer

Es ist keinerlei Wellness inklusive. Über einen Kellergang kann ein nahe gelegnes öffentliches Thermalbad erreicht werden, für das der normale (hohe) Beitritt zu entrichten ist. Die Zimmer mit Galerie sind unpraktisch, eher unkomfortabel und nicht sehr wohnlich; nicht 4 Sterne.

Erholsamer Kurzkur-Aufenthalt

Wir waren zu einer Wochenend-Kurzkur in Bad Birnbach. Der Bademantelgang zu den Thermen ist sehr angenehm. Das Hotel ist durchweg empfehlenswert.

Kurztrip zum Relaxen

Mit einer Freundin im Studio gewohnt: gemütlich, gut ausgestattet. Mit dem vorhandenen Bademantel auf kurzem Weg zur Therme. Super leckeres Frühstücksbüffet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
