"This was above and beyond what we expected for a Best Western! It was a historic hotel right on the water with a nice restaurant with a beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area"

"We really enjoyed our stay and the communication with the owners who were so nice. The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and most importantly the number one thing I look for is that it was clean. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need if you were to cook, large bathroom with everything you need as well, and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the town of Ashland and visiting Maslowski Beach, the tour of murals, the Apostle Islands Boat tour in Bayfield, Copper Falls both a short drive away. We also, really enjoyed eating at Chequamegon Family Restaurant and absolutely do not miss Taqueria La Monarca for outstanding Mexican food or Gabriele's German Sweets for a cookie and truffles.The home is older but so well done on the inside, the basement was a little musty but we spent our time upstairs so I would absolutely stay here again. The landscaping needs a little work as there was poison ivy near the stairs but again, not a deterrent, it was still a great place to stay.
