「Very beautiful cabin, nestled in the thick of the mountains in NC. We truly enjoyed this cabin and the surrounding areas. We will return 」

「A bit dated but perfect for our outdoor activities. 30 minutes to multiple hikes. 20 minutes to gourmet restaurants. 20 to 45 minutes to shopping a the movie theater. The best of both.」

「I will start with my only negative on this home. The driveway is very small. We had our Ram truck and it fit under the covered parking area. But a bigger vehicle might not fit. That's it. Everything else was so good. The house had multiple reminder notes around it. Which I find very helpful. The kids and I loved every well placed detail. The toy closet was a huge hit. We're hoping to book this home again in the future. 」

「Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future.」

「We’ve been going to the mountain for 47 years. This by far was the best place to stay very easy access; air was cooled up on top my shirt mountain and the company has a beautiful pool, hot tub and sauna I would recommend this place exponentially more than any other place」

「It was perfect. It’s conveniently located near Banner Elk restaurants and the park, as well as other activities. Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. Lisa (the owner) was a great communicator and made me feel like we were already friends!」

「Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!」

「Location was nice and quiet. Enjoyed seeing deer and wild turkeys in front. Tiny home met our needs. Hot tub was wonderful each night. Wifi didn’t work for us but we were able to use data without issue thru Verizon. 」
