There are water sports on the lake where paddle boards and kayaks are available to hire, close by is the National Whitewater Rafting Centre at Tryweryn where you can try your hand at rafting or canoeing. The sandy beaches of Barmouth and Harlech on the Cambrian coast are just a 45-minute drive away while Zip World is an hour’s drive. The area is ideal for cyclists with Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre being only 30 minutes away.
