"Great location! Coffee and bakery shop next door. Hotel very modern and updated in a building with lots of character. Accommodating staff. Just a heads up for future travelers, elevator only goes up to 3rd floor. You must use stairs for 4th floor. Not a terrible thing but if unable to climb stairs or large luggage perhaps request lower floor."

"The hotel is ideally locatedon the edge of the Old Town, a short walk from the centre. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly. The rooms were nicely fitted out, the air con was a little hit and miss. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice."
Riga Islande Hotel with FREE parking

"It is a nice hotel, inside an university campus, not too far from the old town, with a medium shopping centre very close, where you can get many things. Though, it is a little too far to walk, so you need transport for the old town. The hotel itself is clean, busy, very good included breakfast. The room is fine, no more no less, though the large panoramic window diffuse lot of light in the morning. The parking should be think again though. But it was fine."

"The hotel is good. Big, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a very good location near city centre. The breakfast was very busy. The breakfast room is too small, people can't get their breakfasts. There are not enough cups, glasses,plates, as well as food for all people, who came for breakfast. Our room was on the ground floor, people smoke outside near our window, smoke gets in the room. That was the downside."

"Panoramic room had a fantastic view, but very restricted head height - and not much room one side of the bed, but was comfortable - if hot as the temperature was in the high 20s. Breakfast was ok, plentiful and no problems getting a table. Lifts were a little cronky, but hotel was convenient for all old town sights, only about 20 minutes walk to the KGB Museum and Art Nouveau properties."
