「This stay was magnificent! I honestly had the best sleep of my life! The hosts were wonderful and breakfast was outstanding!! Sadly, I could only stay one night, but this s a more than perfect stop on your vacation!」

「Clean and well equipped. The room was very Spacious and immaculate .. it has the feel of having been recently refurbished .Decor is modern - the food and coffee was excellent. breakfast was exceptional」

「Wow! What a lovely welcome with snacks being left and plenty of options for breakfast, milk in fridge. I travel for work nearly every week and this exceeded my expectations. If I’m ever in the area again I will 100% stay again. 」

「I would definitely stay here again- the staff were great, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was varied and delicious (i had porridge with honey the first day and french toast the second day- there was also cooked food available and a range of continental items). The hotel was quiet and very homely. A very enjoyable stay.」

「The Hot breakfast is offered to late to accommodate guest that start to travel early, 8 am. There was a continental breakfast offered at 7:30 am」

「John was such a lovely host. Very friendly and makes the most delicious Irish breakfast for the morning!! A beautiful property and beautiful rooms. My husband and I loved our visit here!!」

「Haslem Hotel was very helpful leading up to my trip - responsive to calls and emails. The night of check in, they were there when I arrived late (around 10p) and we're extremely kind. The apartment i rented was EXTREMELY spacious. The downside for me was the cleanliness was not the level I expected from reviews. 「Welcome was good, friendly and informative. Room was pleasant, clean and well situated with à separate entrance to Restaurant. Meals taken were good with excellent selection for breakfast. We were aware of entertainment in the Bar, which was excellent both nights. Note: entertainment is not availble in their Bar every night but there is entertainment somewhere in Rostrevor each night.」

「The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The staff in the bar serving afternoon food and drinks were slow and not very knowledgeable, also the snack choices were very limited. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The swimming pool was very poor paint peeling, rust around units on the walls. The steam room and sauna not very inviting.」

「Good location, friendly and efficient service, rich breakfast」

「As soon as we walked through the door, we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant/bar area was beautiful and cozy. The hotel staff was welcoming. Our room was nicely decorated, and the bay window view of the sea was gorgeous. I will stay at the Avoca any time that I return to Newcastle.」
